Ade, I remember not that long ago when you had sold down to 500K because you were unhappy being so exposed at your time of life. Since then you have loaded back up again because of FOMO...now you are nervous again.... make up your mind.

Ade, how on earth would the small punters selling at the moment get wind of anything like a placing? I also don't think the Instis would look kindly on anything which had a price lower than what they paid to get in. As to the date, looking back over several years it is obvious that it is a movable feast. As they are looking at publishing the figures up to the 31st June it's not unreasonable for them to take a bit longer in the cicumstances especially if they have something big on at the moment. I can't see where there would be any problems that wouldn't have been legally required to tell us about before now.

sb. that's simply flying in the face of the facts. there is a delay compared with previous years. i am not wetting my pants - nurse, nurse !!!- the low level of trades and the large drop in share price are not consistent. that is the point i am making and trying to understand. placing or large sell being negotiated? it's more than mm trying to drum up trade. and, btw, i am buying at this level. also, there are no punters; hence the low volume. in any case i don't care about day punters but i do care about those, like me, who hold in the mills and are planning retirement.
what i bemoan is the ad hominem comments in response to reasoned posts. it was like this at my school. it's schoolyard stuff and uncalled for.

Make of this drop what you will, but, imo, those money printing presses still keep rolling. I also suspect those big IIs, know which side their bread is buttered too.

"the way it's being dropped indicates that they are negotiating a big sell or, my fave, a placing at 15p."

Volume is JUST 2.7 million ...absolutley miniscule....the pant wetters are at it again! And that's all...because people are spooking the punters by this constant harping about a non-existent delay.

i am prepared for 15 but at the mo i feel like i'm trapped in headlights. nobody disappointed themselves, contrary to sb's post. we have been led to 'expect' a significant increase on dec figures. that may well be true, still. also, prior tu figures were released in a more timely manner. we are beyond 'timely' already. however this reminds me of old style jlp. opacity, silence and freefall. there are reasons for the delay. they may be good or not. at the moment fomo is holding it together.
