Market is saying we are not re rating JLP till we see results plus a update . No insiders are buying at this level which means they know they can buy lower soon. Warrants finish today . As you can see by the volume sell 12p cost you 6p . Great when you can get it anything Colin Baird touched it's collapsed later .

SLP pay a generous dividend - and is a more mature business than Jubilee, they would appear more focussed IMO, even so I would expect a retrace at SLP.

Having said that, Jubilee has far more potential, but as said, it's a jam tomorrow share, manana, manana. Market reaction to the imminent update will be interesting.

If that was the case how do you account for the rise over at SLP?

Forget warrants, the real elephant in the room is the PGM price - BBI @ $2148 and falling, last time it was at this level was August 2020. The rise in copper is helping to offset some of the devaluation of PGMs but I don't think the numbers are going to look brilliant. Need some new deals to kickstart the share price

Freedom97 #50484: A great find. If things pan out as suggested, we should all be looking for more copper producers. Personally i don't feel comfortable investing directly in miners as there is so much that can go wrong. (Definition of a miner: A liar standing at the top of a deep hole). I do hold JLP (and SLP for platinum) but working tailings seems far safer than digging big holes and hoping to find something worth selling. If anyone has any suggestions on how to take advantage of the inevitable copper shortage, I would like to take a look.

Loadshedding threatens South Africa's platinum supply

South Africa’s worst ever power blackouts are threatening platinum and palladium supplies in the top miner, both now and in the years ahead.

Outages last year curbed output of the metals, and the power crisis that’s crimping the economy has worsened in recent months. The nation’s platinum-group metals production will likely fall this year, according to Impala Platinum.

The electricity crunch is hurting South African industry and agriculture and blackouts are expected for at least two more years, threatening output in Africa’s most industrialised economy. It’s yet another headache for major mining companies such as Anglo American Platinum, Sibanye-Stillwater and Impala who have found it increasingly harder to run deep and aging shafts.

“If things don’t get better soon then we are likely to have a worse period this year than last,” Impala spokesperson Johan Theron said in an interview. “If it gets worse it will get to a point when you have certain days where we will stop sending people underground.”

You need to ask yourself . Which i find strange is when you research JPL it's looks a good solid company now this year should be a good production year . But and a big but why are no institutions buying at this level . No private investors are buying as well . I honestly believe because of the free warrants given out scandalous amount as well. We will see next week nothing this week . Because again warrants need to clear tomorrow. Yesterday buyers came in afternoon and warrants was sold into market . I would say still big overhang to clear .
