Nice hint from the Tharisa chairman at their AGM re chrome prices.

"Reviewing the year since the last AGM, executive chairman Loucas Pouroulis said the group has put in a strong operational performance, despite the disruption caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

There has also been a strong increase in prices for metallurgical chrome, which had been lagging those of other steel commodities."

Major Chinese stainless steel mills raise March ferro-chrome tenders by $108/t
China’s leading stainless steel producers, Taiyuan Iron & Steel (Tisco), Tsingshan Group and Baosteel, have all raised their high-carbon ferro-chrome tender prices for March delivery by 700 yuan ($108) per tonne from the prior month.

The latest tenders issued by Tisco, Tsingshan and Baosteel are 8,700 yuan per tonne, 8,896 yuan per tonne and 8,900 yuan per tonne respectively, marking an increase of nearly 9% from the levels they offered for February, when they all raised their offers by 2,200 yuan per tonne from January.
The main factor behind mills’ continually rising monthly tender prices remains supply concerns

When it comes to a topic of exit strategy and the like, some may agree, it is best not to show your hand.
Don't forget, if we all decided to sell our Jubilee shares tomorrow, most would be lucky to get 5p for them.

I began putting a post together to reply to The Bull, but it was taking too long, not withstanding having to defend my thoughts, like yesterday, if i had gone ahead and posted it, not in the mood tonight for swashbuckling, maybe tomorrow.

As a result of the completed Sable Zinc transaction, the pre-existing copper leaching circuit has been brought on-line to process historical copper tailings as well as third party sourced run of mine material
The copper refining line at the Sable Refinery was brought into full operation during H2 2019
Sable Refinery achieved H1 2020 earnings from its copper and cobalt production of GBP 1.8 million (ZAR 39 million)
Jubilee’s copper strategy continues to gain momentum with the commencement of the construction of the new copper concentrator as part of its Project Roan
Project Roan will be commissioned over three phases with the first phase targeted to commence delivery of first copper units to Sable Refinery by end February 2021

ISAS full, Tax Bills to pay, it is that time of the year. Some have made a lot of money this year, and some of that hot money will have inevitably ended up in JLP. Those who did so, will have enjoyed the recent rise, and see fit to take their profit

The trading theme at this level seems very similar when we were at 12-13p odds and it wouldnt break the 14p barrier then dropped for no reason to 10.5p briefly, then flew up to 17p odds, now consolidation at 16p odds again.

As with the 12p-13.5p range when it appeared the II's were moving their positions about or changing hands / profit taking due to their funds weighting in one share, it feels the same at 16p range. Ie yes a II or large holder seller, being picked up ( in an organised way ) to another II buyer before we head north again, pre broker notes, updates etc. I would suspect all news flow / broker notes have been shall we say held back a wee while until this latest round of transactions is cleared up. Then the brakes come off again.

This is just my complete naive rants, but it seems to make sense, add up?. Who knows, time will tell

wow, those figs keep improving. So Bullster, what's your exit strategy if you don't mind me asking, do you plan on exiting if dump deals start drying up but perhaps around the 25-30p mark, or are in in for the long game whatever that is
