26/2/2021 10:17 | Copper did hit $9500 earlier, fallen back a bit now, margins must be getting close to $6000 pt for Sable production, x 3 months up to June = earnings $7+ M (c$30M annualised). tintin | 9tintin
26/2/2021 09:55 | . . Today is the last trading day in February. It will be pleasing to see the BBI updated in the header as it will beat the record monthly jump of $420, which occurred in January 2020. This months jump is on track to be in the region of $600. Just think, for pgm's, a jump in monthly earnings of at least $1.8 million. lmic. . . | bullster
26/2/2021 09:50 | I confess to getting rid of a few, this is a short term blip but the sudden change in direction of the cable has me spooked. | frogkid
26/2/2021 09:49 | Kenny depending on how many you sold, you could buy back in at 16.05p and make a good trade of it :) well done for reading the market though. | deme1
26/2/2021 09:28 | Did a dummy buy with the last of my free cash and could get £20k worth @ 16.05p | deme1
26/2/2021 09:26 | Dow- and Gold futures also recovering slowly | mikebolle
26/2/2021 09:24 | Well. Ftse is not bad. Actually recovering nicely. | marmar80
26/2/2021 09:23 | The DOW tanked 500 points, everything is red...We will get some direction when the USA wakes up... | tonyevo256
26/2/2021 08:36 | agreed, some sideways movement in this range whilst waiting for the next direction from RNS. @2dvm, within a couple of days sells will always match buys, more or less. Frog | frogkid
26/2/2021 08:33 | I see a similarity at 16 as it was with 13p, it just needs a bit of time | marmar80
26/2/2021 08:31 | marmar I think it is more a market consolidation, so nowt to do with JLP interest rates have the whole world market shook at the moe | deme1
26/2/2021 08:28 | Another shares consolidation day on the cards. Next week lads will be up. | marmar80
26/2/2021 08:27 | Seems to be lots of sells so far today. Possibly T traders making a quick buck. Prefer to be long here. | 2vdm
26/2/2021 08:16 | but it is holding up well so far. a Friday RNS would not go amiss | deme1
26/2/2021 08:11 | It will take a miracle for this to finish green sadly in the current market conditions. | deme1
26/2/2021 08:05 | Would be nice to have an up day on a Friday for a change. | pshevlin
26/2/2021 06:06 | I expect the jse to open about 650 points lower today. So, jbl will be popular amongst those looking for a quick rand | mikebolle1
25/2/2021 22:09 | . . millwallfan, BBI covers the pgm elements. Don't worry yourself about a rhodium price drop, JLP shares will multi-bag before then. If JLP was producing 25,000 tonnes of copper per year at todays price, earnings would be about $130,000,000. I have just looked at the cobalt price, i hadn't noticed it has risen from $32,000 to $52,000 per tonne, since end of December. this would give earnings of around $54,000,000. . . | bullster
25/2/2021 21:46 | long way to go up yet | platinumfinger
25/2/2021 20:33 | Bullster. When copper comes on stream does that mean you add another line to the BBI and do you have any initial thoughts of what % it will need to be allocated once we are at full production ? Your latest BBI is amazing but my main concern is the disproportionate impact of Rhodium which accounts for 60% of the basket so even a 20% drop in price would mean a big drop in the BBI total. I don't know enough about rhodium to understand the likely stability or direction of its future price but GSGs post above does give some comfort. Thanks as usual for your contributions. | millwallfan
25/2/2021 19:24 | whether they are sells or buys, the price continues to hold up well. More positive if they are sells as we are still blue even with those sells. Simple transfer from one II to another II i would say. All good IMO. O/T, XTR flying on directors ( CB of all people) buying £60,000 worth today. A great space to be in right now | platinumfinger
25/2/2021 19:14 | As I said earlier frogkid, institutional selling! It’s been going on for a few days now! It’s pretty obvious now by the delayed sell and all the other meaty sells. Maybe a reduced holding RNS first thing and if it’s over we will fly tomorrow if copper continues to rise. | mrpiggy
25/2/2021 18:40 | There's the trade that's been holding share price down, order completed at 16:28:54 for 5,629,000 @16.3135p nice! so hopefully share price will now start moving upwards again. | freedom97
25/2/2021 17:28 | Tony, you will do very well, if you have the patience | mikebolle1 |
