16/10/2020 14:22 | Good point @1MadMarky. JLP has a 200% eps growth rate compared to SLP's 18%. I think that P/E ratio is about to be reduced dramatically. | shezza1
16/10/2020 14:05 | JLP massive growth potential SLP err not so much | 1madmarky
16/10/2020 14:00 | tick up b4 close | adejuk
16/10/2020 13:14 | Just rereading the Elephant RNS. Even if there is a placing, based on this, tge share price effect will be minimal? Much better to secure more long term earnings? | goingforarun
16/10/2020 13:00 | So nothing then Dan, just another baseless and vacuous comment? Oh yee enlightened one, what exactly is my opinion on SLP? | plat hunter
16/10/2020 12:18 | Daniel Your sentiments are shared by most if not all on here regarding not wanting another placing and it's associated knock back to the share price Unfortunately this JLP and it has previous on the subject! Another deal is just around the corner I'm sure, and I'm okay with that and IF they fund it without another raise. it will have a positive effect on the share price I have no doubt. 16/10/2020 12:09 | So what's your point then Dan?How have pe ratios and a scheduled earnings report, got to do with that? You can do better than that Dan, surely? | plat hunter
16/10/2020 12:05 | You were slagging SLP off just a few weeks ago... | danieldanrichardson
16/10/2020 12:02 | frog, the share price closes up too on a Friday, like last Friday +4%! | freedom97
16/10/2020 11:54 | JLP trading at 10 x pe SLP trading at 4.8 x peSLP earnings update on 22nd October | plat hunter
16/10/2020 11:49 | Hmmm, holding above 6p, thought it might drop today being a Friday and all. Blimey. | frogkid
16/10/2020 11:17 | Shut up Ruprecht and do not remove that cork from your fork | plat hunter
16/10/2020 11:07 | Just received an email from Walter van Rensburg at Jubilee. Webinar will be placed on Jubilee’s website in a few days time. I have found Jubilee’s email communication to be excellent in the last few weeks. | lostabillion
16/10/2020 10:50 | Plathunter Although we all agree on this board that you are the Sage of Dopeland. I think I speak for most on this board that although Leon calls you all the time to ask what he should do and how he should do it because he can't cope without your wonderful input it's best left to him to choose what he is going to do and how he is going to do it. He is building a great Company here and quickly and when he eventally writes his speech of thanks to all for the help he has been given your name will be on the top of the list as a supreme visionary who's talents shine beyond the galaxy | eblitz1
16/10/2020 10:30 | I hope there will not be a further placing for a while. All the projects on hand need to be implemented which require managers have to be hired or promoted and then proved in the implementation process. Unexpected things always crop up JLP is already somewhat into a very large development programme. Once this is well underway it will be time to consider another LARGE expansion. Minor add ons can take place at ant time. It is much cheaper in the long term to use debt especially as it is currently at historically low rates. AS JLP's margins are more than sufficient to support borrowings and the market for us to acquire additional assets appears to be almost inexhaustible. A compound growth rate of 25-30% with sound cash generation and good demonstrable financing control should give the market confidence that the management are reliable and therefore safe in which to invest. | timhigginson
16/10/2020 09:16 | Losta You may well be right, I think it depends on the size of the deal, and the quickest way to realise Colin's mid cap dream is through bigger deals that require an equity raise. As regards throwing of cash - for sure JLP are generating loads, but don't forget you can only spend it once !! AND the Capex levels on Roan and Elephant will be big - it's all about scale and Leon, bless him is thinking BIG. I don't think we will have long to wait to find out - the hints are being dropped!! With regards to the price of an equity raise - it will be interesting to see how much appreciation there is above the current mark 6/6.3 on any significant buying. Yesterday's trades were indicative of a pre-placing market - days ahead of notification. I can see results early next week ! Then again the tea leaves could be completely wrong - LOL tintin | 9tintin
16/10/2020 08:59 | Anyone disagree that JLP needs another Sable size refinery? | plat hunter
16/10/2020 08:54 | The earnings are on pgms, they need the cash for copper. The bank won't lend on the basis of pgm earnings for the purpose of copper forget that lol. What happened to that 50 million loan facility anyway, wasn't there dilution and a but load of warrants to get that arranged? Never touched or mentioned again. | plat hunter
16/10/2020 08:50 | I’d like to see a bid to realise a true valuation . | kennyp52
16/10/2020 08:48 | If the company needs to raise money for a very big deal... (which will eventually give a boost to the SP) then highly unlikely any placing (if needed) would be @5.55, more like 6p+ Remember, Jubilee just issued fantastic revenue figures. It's more likely Jubilee would now get bank support with a very low interest rate. Just my opinion. | freedom97
16/10/2020 08:48 | I don't think people realise the disparity in through put between a concentrator and a refinery or just how much of the concentrate JLP will end up with versus how much will have to go to market as low grade product over the cost of developing the processing network. The more concentrate that gets passed onto the market on a JV profit share, the more return on capital is diluted.JLP need another refinery, Sable just isn't big enough for this. | plat hunter |
