The Star Zinc offtake agreement has been a long time coming.

I will draw attention to two paragraphs, as to the reason.

Galileo Resources PLC, RNS, 21/08/2019.

The treatment of 15% Zn grade material is shown to be profitable at a $2,700/t zinc price and therefore AMS considers the +15% Zn resource using a 2% cut-off within the pit shell to have a reasonable prospect of being economic.

Jubilee Metals Group PLC, RNS, 17/09/2019.

Third party material will only be considered if it offers the potential to further enhance project earnings. Jubilee has received keen indicative interests from both copper and zinc, small and medium scale mining ventures for further refining of their mine material. These additional sources of throughput have the potential to further extend the Project life beyond the 12 year life offered from existing tails alone

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Zinc is trading at $1,978/t today, this poses the question as to,,, can Colin supply ore from Star Zinc at the right price when Leon can process our own paid for tailings.

we will learn to live with cv19 as we did with aids
that scared s..t out of me in 1982 but we all had a huge amount of control over infection. it was much more virulent and lethal than covid.
there will be a covid vaccine and a 'cure' within a year
just gotta survive the next 12 months
and it is true that the death rate is prob the same as for flu
the vulnerable and immuno compromised.

Interesting points there sharenotes. Sometimes I wonder whether we should have just let it run.

fireplace22,

Fair point. This is a very clever virus, no doubt. But, as yet, it does not make the cut. Our bodies are teeming with really successful viruses. A successful virus does not kill its host. Scientists tracking this virus have already indentified close to 200 different strains. The virus will continue to mutate so as not to take out the host. If successful, this will be better than any vaccine.

It's interesting that the pandemic of 1918 (UK death toll 228K, world 50M) has never been repeated on any such scale in 100 years. Yet we seemed mesmerised at the moment that CV will haunt us for evermore. Don't know about CV being seasonal as it seems to have flourished quite well in warmer climes too.

Frogkid,

In the last five seasons the average number of deaths related to flu in England (not the UK) was 17,000. This ranged from 1,692 deaths in 2018/19 to 28,330 deaths in 2014/15. Yet business kept going. Worth keeping in mind.

With regard to SARS-CoV2, the data indicates who is vulnerable to a poor outcome, if infected. These individuals need to be protected. If this virus is like the typical coronavirus then it will ‘disappearR17; in the summer. No doubt, the politicians will claim it's because of their policies.

There are less pi's using ADVFN today due to starting to go back to work. If you noticed, the monitor only started to time out within a second when lockdown started in March, now many are going back to work who can't work from home.

The market is very quiet so far today, you soon know by ADVFN's monitor for the first time in nearly 2 month's it's not timing you out within a second.

With savings rates still reducing at all time lows, I think it's only a matter of time before we see a huge increase in new pi's, wanting to find somewhere better to invest their money and no doubt ADVFN's monitor will time out within a second again. Unless you pay the subscription fee.

Frogkid,

The probability that a vaccine will be available in the winter is very low indeed. Notwithstanding, a number of extremely knowledgeable individuals have been diligently carrying out analyses of COVID-19 data from around the world. For example, the evidence is gathering which strongly suggests that lockdown has no additional benefits over social distancing. Yet lockdown has decimated the world-wide economy.

PS some of the extremely knowledgeable sources:

Oxford University Professor, Carl Henegan director of the centre for evidence based medicine.

Stanford University Professor, Michael Levitt (also a Nobel-Laureate).

Professor Isaac Ben-Israel.

I cite these individuals only because; if you carry out a search they have been reported in the media. There are others, but the information is embedded in research papers and you may not have the time or inclination to trawl through these.

PPS
I do expect a second wave of infections in the winter, but the response is key. The data is suggesting that the rapid increase in infections peak in the sixth week and decline from the eighth week and is common around the world, regardless of response policies.

If it touches 2 I might buy some provided there is liquidity. It shouldn't be too long lot's of JLP liquidity. You can buy more than a million in one fell swoop no problem. Placing will help.

That press article trader365 posted was written by the partner of someone (can't remember name) who started posting on XTR BB at the time and very soon after the article was proved inaccurate, disappeared, never posted again.

If I remember rightly, John Hanns who wrote that article is a friend of the local tribe leader who wanted the land to mine for themselves after the Zambian Gov took back the licence from the owner at the time, like they did with over 300 licences at the time, like they did with the Kabwe licence we all know about.

Colin, as per XTR RNS's completed just over 3 month's of due diligence on the licence etc., and concluded that Shawi Fawaz obtained the licence from the Zambian gov., and was found to be legally done. CB said, everything was found to be okay. Remember Xtracts lawyers would have checked this.

So trader365 is trying to mislead pi's by posting that press article again here. trader, posted that press article here last February as well. It was posted on XTR BB July last year too by the partner of John Hanns.

Losta, i am being a little cautious over the next 6 months but happy to add here and there around these levels. Dont think we are out of the woods with the virus yet. I can imagine carnage in the winter if no vaccine found...
