Result of EGM

Further to the circular published by JPMorgan Global Convertibles Income Fund Limited (the 'Company') on 30th September 2019 in connection with the recommended proposals for a voluntary liquidation of the Company (the 'Circular'), the Board is pleased to confirm that all the resolutions were duly passed at the EGM of the Company held earlier today.

Appointment of Liquidators

Stuart Gardner and Richard Barker of Ernst & Young LLP (the 'Joint Liquidators') have therefore been appointed as Joint Liquidators responsible for the affairs of the Company until it is wound up. The Joint Liquidators will be retaining the Company's Manager until the Portfolio has been liquidated.

Cancellation of shares

It is expected that the listing of the Company's shares will be cancelled with effect from 8:00 a.m. on 31st October 2019.

Cash distribution to shareholders

All shareholders on the register at 6.00 p.m. on 25th October 2019 will be entitled to liquidation distributions. It is currently expected that the Portfolio will be realised for cash no later than 6th November 2019. In this case, the Joint Liquidators would expect to distribute the cash proceeds of the liquidation of the Portfolio, less the costs of the Proposals and the amount attributable to the Liquidation Fund, during the week commencing 11th November 2019.

Terms used and not defined shall have the same meanings as in the Circular.
