igoe a lot of the rise on the Hang Seng was down to Mainland China being able to buy stocks there.Now this is not going to happen and whilst the global stock markets are uncertain it is best to stand clear.

I think we all know that alot of these companies in jmc will be world leaders in there sector, and will have billion market caps.

YOU just have to look at jmc biggest holding china mobile, they are in leader in a massively growing sector.

YES a bad day at the office for me with this one.
Buts its just a matter of time before it starts hitting new highs, nothing can stop the chinese market powering its way to the top.

Discount has now moved to 22.5p. An amazing discount, got to be a good place for any spare cash right now. I guess though that the current price reflects the fall from the super high 27p a few days ago.

The China Ishares (FXC) are up 17.5% today. Which is a bit odd, is it not?
When JMC is down 6.5%
Not sure if JMC should go up - or FXC should go down ...

The way this one gets marked down beggars belief sometimes.
Trading at a huge discount to the NAV right now.
Hopefully with a few good days in Asia this will bounce right back.

yes YOU ARE GOING TO GET DROPS IN THE MARKET, from time to time. but the bigger picture will show continued growth in china for many many years yet.
THOUSANDS of chinese are opening trading accounts everyday, china will be the power of this world soon.

Obviously I would prefer to see JMC rising rather than dropping as it has done in the last few days prior to today. But I'm not at all worried ... it would take more than a flurry of crises about mortgage lending in the West to put a halt to the onward march of the Chinese economy

I see the nav has fallen, but not by 6%, so I'm fairly happy with my top up. Should see an improvement in the share price to match the nav shortly (I hope).

IT will be interesting to see todays nav value, its 27p discount on fridays.
