I just checked the close period, it's one month for quarterlies and two months for finals. So that all ties up.

I guess they wouldn't have bought this amount if they weren't confident.

Bought back starter position. Keeping same target as in previous chart.

The year end is May 29 .Half year ends November 30th which suggests the close period will start after that.

The directors appear to have made their purchases just before the close period if I am not mistaken.

I can't remember the duration of the closed period for insider buying.

Hands up, I sold out of boredom last Friday! In view of today's large director buys (which surely represent a positive signal), I have just bought back the shares I sold. I will try to be more patient this time around!

Agreed. I bought a starter position earlier but this was stopped out around 195, when the share price crossed the lower grey trendline. It would be good to get the breakaway gap closed, although these can act as support, as is apparent on the fevr chart.
