Yes.
I haven't looked at my TD Direct account to see if they've appeared.

EDIT: they haven't!

I think this has happened before ... relief rally that the fund-raising was oversubscribed.

The day this doesn't happen - time to sell out of JLIF, HICL, 3IN, GCP!

My TD account isn't showing the allocation - will probably be scaled back, as I asked for a big excess.

Very pleased with the outcome here. Put in for full entitlement plus as much again. Just seen the secondary placing RNS and checked my brokers account, got the lot.

Successful raising of £60.4 million to fund new PPP project acquisitions
On 7 September 2012, JLIF announced details of a proposed Issue of New Shares to fund the acquisition of a number of new projects. The Board of JLIF is pleased to announce today that the offer period for New Shares has now closed and that, on the basis of applications received through the Open Offer (and associated Excess Application Facility) and Offer for Subscription and orders taken through the Placing, 56,739,261 New Shares will be issued raising Gross Issue Proceeds of £60.4 million for the Company. The Issue was significantly oversubscribed, however, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Issue, all applications made pursuant to Open Offer entitlements will be met in full.
The Net Issue Proceeds will be used to acquire two new projects and an additional stake in Forth Valely Royal Hospital (the "New Portfolio") from John Laing Group.

Application has been made for the 56,739,261 New Shares to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities with effect from 8.00 a.m. on Friday, 5 October 2012. Thereafter JLIF will have a total of 510,653,349 shares issued and outstanding.

The feared clampdown on excessive PFI profits won't happen; minor makeover only:

This rather swung the balance, and I've asked for additional shares.

Yup, Friday 28th for me also. not so sure if I will go for excess. With most rights issues you save a lot on dealing costs and even more on stamp duty which is a nice little bonus. No stamp duty on these so not quite so tempting !

Interesting - I have a deadline of noon 28th!

I'll probably go for an excess too.

Me too (T D Direct).
Deadline 26th.

Thanks, I want to buy them through my SIPP which is with HL. Whilst they list some dollar denominated stocks, they don't list these - I'll give them a call.

BTW just for clarity - I actually meant CIFU.

T D Direct, but not in my ISA, so I have some tax to pay on the divis.
Also, I can keep cash in USD so I don't have the forex conversion to bother about.

JLIF won't be involved at this building stage.
The 'parent company' John Laing does the building then sells the completed project to JLIF to manage.
So JLIF gets the lower-risk part of the project.
