PPC/JKX is the only Ukraine non-state oil and gas company with a connection to the Souyez pipeline which transports gas directly into Ukrainian and European markets.

Agreed jaka.Excellent performance with even low oil prices last year,Imagine what will be our cash position with oil is Booming!2021 will be transformational for JKX imo.

JKX managed to get strong cash flows during the collapse in price of oil & gas due to extremely low production costs and was even able to repay its debts and amass a considerable amount of cash. An excellent performance and with increased oil prices this should be amplified .

Should expect a RNS next week , but its a guidance report and not a Aim rule to deliver report.
Anyway expect a good turnover even with only part of new well results.

Yes I think around July 19? I think real change will be the quarter after that as this one they've been bringing the new oil and gas online but should be some improvement and hopefully some commentary on how it's all progressing

Not sure when the update will be, but it was on the 9th Jul last year so must be very close. I wouldn't build up anyone's hopes for this update, the new production from the Ukraine has only been happening for just over a month. Before that, production had been in decline, although oil and gas prices had been much higher. It's any outlook I'll be interested in.

JKX chart is very encouraging.Next consolidation is around 40p area and then to 60p!!We were trading around 40p before Russian trouble started,so will not be a problem to go there.We were around 60p in 2019! And we will be touching those levels easily imo.This stock 500p in 2008 300p in 2011.I am not saying we will see those levels,but definitely there is enough room to move NORTH from here!Good luck and hope things turnaround for LING TERMERS here too...

Thanks jaka,We are in the region where lifting costs are really low. Below 30??Looking at current oil prices above 70usd,we will be having our mcap below our cash position soon!Which is not possible.Really good RERATE to happen here soon!

I actually disagree as given an industry average pe of 15.5 compared to less than 4 here and profits that shld go up with revenue increasing by say $50m from the new well (not allowed for in their calculations) I don't think 200% increase in the near future is unreasonable.

Good post, and the management have made cost cutting measures throughout the pandemic regarding pay and staffing to keep the overheads down, yet another positive when comparing. Like Thordon and Research say the p/e is lowest not only in the O&G sectors but one of the lowest in all sectors! An absolute bargain if you consider everything.

Agreed,this is much better than many companies trading with hefty debt on the neck!Look at HUR,producing similar amount of oil to us.230mil usd debt and cash in hand for 120mil, means 110mil net debt(for now).Mcap is 75mil today!!!And usDebt free!!Cash in hand 29mil and need to pay court case for 16mil means 13mil cash plus 11mil to receive for arbitration award, and that bring to 24mil cash in last quarter!!Plus profit for this quarter!Production 10k plus bopd!!And mcap???????Only 50mil???????Market will wake up soon.
