Crikey ladies lighten up. I know all that stuff already. Don't forget the banks are cueing up to lend them money to buy producing assets so they will soon be cash generative. My guess is they will do the first such deal before Statoil drill Verbier and Azinor drill Partridge in 2017 just incase anything goes wrong. I think we are all going in the same direction here. Market capitalisation below £30m leaves plenty of upside.

And the value of verbier is £8/share to JOG. Where on earth do you get £30 from?

money maker. Hmm... that was a different company, Trapoil, which recapitalised and become Jersey Oil and Gas in 2015. They raised cash at 22p and if you look at that chart you will see a grey diamond just after the number 2015 to show when the 'new' company started.

jovi1 i do have a positive view on JOG.

Considering JOG still has a very small market capitalisation if you look at the chart it seems obvious the share price will rapidly gap back up to the 800p to 1000p range. Obviously if Verbier comes up good this summer then you would be looking at a price more than 10x the current level so £30 or more.

in hnr I invested some time ago and fortunately I did very well too
at the time my investment reason was on the technology for re fracking that as taken a side route and as far as I am aware they need to farm out as need cash,
here there is the cash to drill already clearly if they find commercial oil they will do well if not they will not.
management here however has been very good in making deals and that do not seems the case so far in HNR

Downside value ca 0p with ca 70% probability, upside say 800p with 30% probability. No wonder the swede left the ship, having made a phenomenal return from supporting AB and his team. Underwriters probably getting nervours now that the baloon is losing its air...... this is beginning to look like a falling knife. But no doubt getting attractive again at 50p-ish.

I guess these sells are the big boys who got in under 50p getting out before results of the drilling. Seems to explain the continual slide.

Everyone who has bought this share recently must recognise what it is; effectively a binary play.
If the drill makes a commercial find this share could hit £8 or £9 fairly quickly.

If the drill fails the share price will collapse spectacularly to way under a quid.

Its a gamble and I reckon the odds of success are one in three.

Nice low cost low risk onshore US located Niobrara shale. Drilling this summer.

Should see HNR push back through 70p to 90p now and possibly tripple from here.
