10/9/2009 10:27 | Been busy this morning adding a few, looks a possibility for a run ahead of the interims | cwa1
09/9/2009 23:56 | England through to World Cup = a shed load of shirt sales = share price rise in the morning? | stegrego
09/9/2009 16:47 | I'm sure Pentland would have a price. CR | cockneyrebel
09/9/2009 16:43 | is JD another American Apparell? Pentland shareholding looks likely blocker to any t/over. | honiton

09/9/2009 11:21 | What's the value of JJB to JD. at, say, 40p IF you have it to hand please? If not to hand please don't worry, I'll soon ferret it out :-) | cwa1
09/9/2009 11:13 | Yes CWA - JD. own 10% of JJB too - on the books at 8p a share - the stock is up 17% today @ 41p. All helping to boost the balance sheet :-) CR | cockneyrebel
09/9/2009 08:04 | Pretty confident statement from Sportsdirect this morning:- Hopefully a sign of good things to come from JD. | cwa1
08/9/2009 10:53 | Welcome CWA :-) These look screaming cheap imo. Take a look at the PE on Sports Direct - around 11.5 compared to JD's PE of 7. Then look at the debt - virtually no debt here but Sports direct has nearly £430m in debt! JD. should be double this price on a comparible basis and the growth at JD. is miles higher than Sports Direct (if Sports Direct does have growth?) CR | cockneyrebel
08/9/2009 09:29 | Morning all. Have joined your merry band with a modest couple of thousand this morning. Hoping that there will be positive signs at results. Looks in reaonable shape ahead of them anyway. Any upbeat DS should see it starting to move upwards assuming wider markets don't collapse. Good luck to all holders. | cwa1

27/8/2009 12:34 | 3 weeks to the results. PE 8, no debt, half the valuation of Sports Direct. Got to see going buying ahead of those results imo. CR | cockneyrebel
22/8/2009 21:37 | JD Sports front-runner to buy Kitbag from Findel | cockneyrebel
21/8/2009 07:35 | Includes: "Also confirmed today was the partnership with Canterbury of New Zealand, named as Wasps Official Kit Provider for the next three seasons with a £700,000 agreement. Canterbury and Wasps have enjoyed a long association and with the new terms agreed, the partnership between the two now crosses the decade marker.Confirmation of the agreement puts the minds of many at the Club and the wider rugby world at ease after news of the manufacturer going into administration three weeks ago. Following the acquisition by JD Sports Fashion plc (JD), a company with a full listing on the London Stock Exchange with net assets at 31st January 2009 of £104m, the future looks strong for Canterbury and for Wasps, who today unveiled their new playing kit for the full 2009/10 team photo." | shanklin
18/8/2009 17:50 | Nice finds Shanks :-) CR | cockneyrebel
