A fascinating insight from JP in regards to the exceptional potential of Pedra Branca,....GL S

A lot to digest and also the quality of approach is significant.

V.VO volume pick up in Canada post that presentation Swizz, meantime JP keeps chipping away and adding to his holding, can only help our interests too.

Swizz yes JP seems fairly well aligned to our fortunes imo, as for peddling their wares, why wouldn’t you? I’ve been out to the PDAC before and it can be a bit who’s who at times. It’s these events that get you noticed, of course the cynic could argue they are a bit desperate looking for cash but again, which junior isn’t?

A, based on the feedback that I have received, it is apparently very much the done thing in Canada and when the conference season kicks off,it is something a significant number of investors look forward to and each of the conferences have a very varied mixture of attendees, I would suggest the trading activity in the weeks ahead, will be the true barometer of it being a good idea or not,....GL S

RB...good to note JP exercising options and further on market purchases, it also looks as if a block trade of 700k has been facilitated to another insider.

Nice to see a bit of movement here.

Swizz also nice to see ValOre active, only booths from what I can see, but right gigs to peddle your wares. The VRIC event which Cambridge House chair several speakers is always worth following, bit of a who’s who in mining and a fair few market “gurus”.

A couple of snippets, ValOre confirmation of their January conference season,...

MIF | Vancouver B.C, January 17 – 18 (Rosewood Hotel Georgia)

VRIC | Vancouver B.C, January 19 – 20, Booth #734 (Vancouver Convention Centre West)

AME Roundup | Vancouver B.C, January 20 – 23, Booth #1017 (Vancouver Convention Centre)

Plus confirmation on the ANDM portal, that Janagada have started work again on January 6th at PW, it will be interesting to note if there is also confirmation of that included in the AGM statement today,....GL S

burtond1,

Wow, what a classic bunch of AIM mining stocks that lot are!

I'm not sure you're being helpful to Jangada by grouping them with those others though?

Here, we look at #ROCK #ARS #GWMO and #JAN who have some interesting existing projects or mines. Whilst looking for new resources @Rockfireplc @AsiametTweets @mining_great & @jangadamines are also looking at extracting more value from current resources.https://total-market-solutions.com/2020/01/06/mining-review/

Liked the presentation Swizz, I expect ValOre to issue equity too, i.m.o think it's all going to depend on how good the P.B prospect results that start coming through; can't knock those that have been burned here feeling downbeat but a story can evolve, people should never view something as a perpetual dog no more than they should wear rose tinted glasses. Right now I'd say Jan is a good risk/reward with a bit of cash in hand.

GB, I would suggest the tragedy of the Fukushima disaster, has a significant bearing on the ValOre performance, as their development of Angilak was very much the focus for a considerable amount of time and circa c$55m of development, so whilst they do fall in the basket of junior malaise that you refer to, there is a specific and significant reason, that aside, the quality of the team and access to capital should not be overlooked and in some part that has probably led them to widen their horizons with the acquisition of PB, I have no doubt that ValOre will issue equity to develop, but I would suggest it will be aligned to the material appreciation of the asset value, which will hopefully offset the dilution you refer to, albeit they are all good points that you make,....GL S

on the plus side....somebody likes something about JAN atm given the share price action!

thanks for the reply swizz. ValOre have a good rep but their last 10 years of share price action has been no better than most explorers. A steady grind downwards.

I think as long as the 25% doesn't get diluted down much by VO issuing new shares, nor our VO shareholding being sold off to fund Jangada's exploration desires things could turn out OK...but those are two rather large if's.

I agree we've got a broader portfolio now but I will forever wonder what the hell happened to that BFS that was promised so imminently.

GB, those thoughts are shared by many and it is certainly a head wind that Jangada have to navigate through, to regain confidence in the market, but on news flow to date from both sides of the Atlantic, post completion of the deal with ValOre, it appears to have been a shrewd move and I would suggest 25% of what will hopefully be a much bigger pie, is probably a decent position to retain, I would also suggest the cash position is post the funds being set aside to take the Vanadium and Titanium asset through PEA and JORC, so at this stage of the development we are well positioned, with excellent exposure to the development of some exciting assets of PGM, V, U, Fe, Ti, etc,.....GL S

I must say, I preferred the Jan 2019 version when we had Pedra Branca and were looking forward to the BFS in June 2019.

Can't help but feel the Valore team, part of the Discovery group did a clever sales job on the Jangada team meaning we sold top class deposit for peanuts (£4.1m).

It's a shame for the Jangada board as well - one of the things that reassured me was that they owned such a large % of the company.

You need only look at how EUA is now being valued (possibly with a lot more to come) to see how Pd/Pt/Au are going to be valued going forwards.

And yet at the time the JAN board "found there to be limited support in the UK financial markets for financing a PGM project".

Now we have a bit of a cash (C$0.5m + C$1m to come) to be used proving up Pitombeiras but not enough to take it particularly far.

Should we be reassured that the board say "there is a strong appetite amongst UK and international investors for vanadium as an asset class" even though they didn't see the same for PGMs?

The 33% now diluted to 26% of ValOre is OK and I'm sure there is upside there. They have some great U and Gold projects and a track record of (eventually) selling them.

It's currently cheaper than buying VO direct....so that's a positive. But what's the plan with Pitombeiras except dig and dilute?

The track record is not great given what they did with PB.

Brien Lundin in conversation with JP, with an overview of 2019 and their significant expansion plans for 2020, plus a fascinating insight into the ongoing exploration works at Pedra Branca and the utilisation of industry leading exploration methodology, you get a sense we are in very safe hands and we have a lot to look forward to, with near term news flow just around the corner, 2020 shaping up to be a very special year for ValOre and Jangada shareholders,....GL S

An interesting podcast from a couple of days ago, JP is in conversation with Brien Lundin and covering of a number of topics currently affecting the macro and micro events around the junior sector, with a few snippets on ValOre, but also covering the current tax loss selling in Canada that is about to come to an end and reading between the lines, JP not losing the opportunity to emphasise the value in ValOre and both in agreement that it is bargain hunting season!,....GL S

Good to note Consulmet taking shares at just over 3p per share, in lieu of fees of circa £160k for technical works, something tells me that they like the asset, the company and the prospects, plus warrants at 6p, time for the market to wake up perhaps?,....GL S

Another exhibit for lifestyle company tactics. Share options with the signposted premium to current share price. Their existing shareholdings not sufficient incentive?
