The comm’s coming out of ValOre clearly set out their intentions are to increase the Pedra Branca resource, they may well have tier 1 PGM aspirations for PB, so I would not be too hasty at this stage to suggest anyone is being screwed over, plus the fact the Celtic loan was undrawn and there are no medium term financing issues, that would also signal that the company resources are being managed very carefully, it will be interesting to see how the deal with Consulmet will be affected and if ValOre will also pick up that responsibility going forward, which could potentially result in no further issue of Jangada shares, so I do believe your point that the boards interests are equally aligned to shareholders has some merit,.....GL S

Management are majority shareholders, so they were screwing themselves?

Outrageous screwing of shareholders here. That PGM project was a slam dunk. Given away for £4m.
Hold them to account.

Post 401 was removed by ADVFN as that poster was spamming all over the BB.

Good to see them finally taking action against this sort of thing.

Andy, he does have his wires crossed and appears to have misunderstood, Strand Hanson have confirmed today that it is just the shareholders vote of rule 15 that applies, the board are currently circa 10% short of the votes needed, so it will be intriguing to see what develops in the weeks ahead, as the due diligence process progresses,....GL S.

swizz,

Well either Ben Turney doesn't realise JAN still has the vanadium project, so is not a 'shell', or he has been informed they are going to dispose of that too to become a shell.

I think he's got his wires crossed personally.

It has vanadium assets - it's not a cash shell.

VO have a market cap of CAD $8.6 million, and are looking to raise "a minimum of CAD$3 million"

That doesn't look like a cake walk to me.

From the Valore news release:

"Private Placement

ValOre plans an equity financing of not less than C$3,000,000 (the "Financing") to fund transaction costs of the Acquisition, exploration expenditures on the Project and for general working capital.

The terms of the Financing, and any potential advisory fees payable related to successfully completing the Financing and/or the closing of the Acquisition, will be determined in the context of the market and will be announced at a later date. Completion of the Financing is subject to acceptance by the TSX Venture Exchange."

-------

So they have yet to finance it!

That may be a challenge in the current market, they'll have to do the hard sell on the acquisition to convince people to cough up $3 million, IMHO.
