Mossy, I hope that you're right mate. The above article is an interesting read, I think that it's easy to read in to it what you want. But I do feel that the share price has been under the control of the big boys for some time.

The share price is under fire to a big player. It is now just about where they want it, below 100p and they may get noticed by more than one.

Six years since July 2015 when the Goldman Sachs, Liberty and Marshall Wace started their concerted action to destroy shareholder value in the company.

They have done a good job, what next, has the time come.

No doubt that this share has been seriously manipulated. The long holders here will reap huge rewards when ITV becomes entrenched in bid war.

Exlogiclad, I never said you were a troll, I was making a general comment regarding trolls. I read most ITV comments and wouldn't class Stan as an idiot. JMO.

NigeCo.. I am no troll, I rarely post on any boards so accusing me of trolling is ridiculous.

stan is a conspiracy theorist, poorly educated, paranoid idiot. He never stops posting his misconceived negative take on ITV. I politely posted a well written informative link for him to read which just received moronic comments.

I will take advice from most, but poor old stan is a fool. My only advice to him is maybe brush up on his grammar and manners. You can read his advice, maybe you appreciate it the views of idiots!

stan is the troll, not me!

stansmith is filtered.

I personally appreciate Stan's opinions, I may not always agree with Stan but I do value his opinion, it's best to hear all sides for a balanced opinion. Keep posting Stan.

Just filter stansmith, it’s the best way, just let him talk to himself all day.

A very unsavoury character imo

Touch a raw nerve stan! I was trying to do you a favour by pointing out that you keep harpin on about Britbox losses when it is new and in early days process, add the Brexit uncertainty and Covid to the situation and in fairness Britbox has held up well.

You can keep up with your doom and gloom, I was just pointing out that you are being ultra harsh on the company.

Think about it and read this link from a year ago.

hadesits not a question if its good or not, strategic or otherwiseits just a fact that net of everything, itv are burning roughly 800k to 1m pounds a week on iti know its inconvenient for some like nologiclad who just wants to hear feel good baseless posts, but facts are facts

oh oh nologiclad is back
losing 1m a week is ok now

i am out of my depth? can you show your depth, by backing that up? what have you added besides trolling me?

what a tit

can no one on this group handle facts?

can we only discuss bbox doing well, when its losing money hand over fist?

can we only dream of takeovers because someone bought some adrs?

i see sticking to the facts is just too much for some people..

i was challenged by mark to back up my comments which i did

i dont see anyone else backing their facts up

Sure they probably could but many believe it is a sound Investment in the future and certainly adds to ITVs attraction should anyone want to buy the company? - access to BBC library.I suspect your view (whilst I respect it) is in the minority.I subscribe to BritBox

It could also be the Snap etc are more dependent on SME advertisers?
Certainly UK Television Advertising has not been impacted by supply shortages - it was the first question I asked months ago.
Even Car Manufacturers are extremely active on TV at the moment building their brands despite the shortage of new cars! - the TV Advertisers are playing the long game.
Also remember Brand Advertising is essential in order to pass through the price increases to the customer!!!
Advertisers are pleased with the recent price inflation - they don’t have to discount so margins have increased in percentage and absolute terms!
For many retailers it’s the increase in margins in absolute terms that has been a real bonus!
That hasn’t happened for decades - they love inflation (margins increase in absolute cash terms).
Strange world.

FFS stan, give it a rest, you really are a boring tit! McCall said that Britbox was never going to compete with the big streamers.

You harp on about the biggest loser and keep bashing.......try and exercise that dormant organ between your ears and work out just how much money it would take to produce the Britbox back catalogue. Back catalogues and nostalgia are worth billions, take a look the Beatles back catalogue, or Elvis or Buddy Holly, it's called NOSTALGIA and Britbox has it in spades.

So it lost a million a week, so what, go back and look at how much debt Netflix accrued. Stan, you are out of your depth on this thread, get over to the penny share thread and preach your boring mantra!
