Anyone looking at below 118p today?

Something doesn’t look right and a further fall looks imminent, does it not, now everyone has had the opportunity to reflect on the statement.

The only reason to invest in itv for me is a TO. But hasn’t that been spoken about for 10years now?

Calm down smartie, everything will be fine. You need to unwind, relax, go for a bike ride to a nice beer garden and enjoy a couple of pints of good ale. Life is wonderful, enjoy this Wednesday, you won't get it back. Stop being angry, be a nice person, it will help with your mental wellbeing. Dr Wasp.

Right, in all honesty, I like Netcurtains, but the question I have to ask is tell me at this moment in time why I should invest in itv?

The whole market is overpriced.
We have a significant debt issue.
Inflation is going to kill households and a serious recession is imminent.
Infection numbers and variants will rise.
Governments appear to be involved in their own Ponzi bond schemes.

So, why should I invest in this market for a few weeks short gains?

Look at how the markets move on even a semblance of poor news. Last Monday all but forgotten?

The Board recognises the importance of the ordinary dividend for ITV shareholders. Given the current uncertainty the Board will not declare an interim dividend in respect of the current year. However, assuming the economy continues to recover, the Board intends to propose a final dividend of 3.3p for the full year 2021, based on two thirds of a notional full year dividend of 5p. The Board intends to grow the ordinary dividend over time whilst balancing further investment behind our strategy and our commitment to investment grade metrics.

Disappointing it is not being resumed after fairly good results IMHO. The wait continues.

Tlobs, so if I shorted at 124p on the back of stupid retail buying in and closed at 119.3. Then doesn’t that give me around a 5% profit on the back of those who can’t read financial statements.

I wonder who’s the sensible one here?

Its just that the market is a sick old man.

All’s not well in the world my friend and everyone is treating this 2 jab propaganda as legit.

First you couldn’t spread it, then not catch it again, then if you do not seriously ill.

Start asking questions, start looking deeper. Watch the NHS hospitalisation data.

And above all learn to read a Fkn financial statement.

I've just unfiltered smartie6 as I couldn't remember why I filtered him (or her) in the first place.

Having read just one of his/her most recent negative rants the filter is back on.

It's a shorter losing money. LMAO

ADG, hold on a minute, someone who tells you as it is - now in the wrong????

It’s you that can’t properly interpret a financial statement. Not me.

FFS.

Yes you only have to climb 20%. FFS.

Don’t you realise when those infection rates start increasing and the truth is exposed about transmission and ultimate protection of the jabs then crisis hits again.

In 3weeks we could see infection at 75,000 and hospitalisations of 2000 a day.

Over 800 hospitalisations yesterday and nearing 7,000 in hospital.
