Still a good buy at sub 130p.

A lot of upward potential.

It's a loss in my eyes, if you sell for less than what you bought it for, it's a loss. Unless you include the dividends already received, that I'm ok with.

Its not really a lose if they swapped into something else. Nearly everything has gone up since March 2020. Just some things have gone up further and longer. Who knows what they swapped into.

I think that people that try and scare shareholders in to selling are trying to give the impression to the shareholder who is more than likely holding a paper loss, that they are far too clever to have bought such a share at such a high price. It gives them some self worth I guess. If people are panicked into selling after listening to these posters then more fool them. I personally take everything that I read on a discussion board with a large pinch of salt. Always best to do your own research, that way you only have yourself to blame.

I think with the larger companies they make no difference to the price of the stock at all, unless they are part of a wider institution shorting.

Who in their right mind would short this given the present chart anyway?

They irritate me to be honest, because they scare people out of perfectly good holdings. I don't know what pleasure that idiot C7 got out of it ... a mental health issue no doubt. But the opposite of him are just as bad ... talking up shares with no underlying thesis, or just plain lying about something ... I won't mention any names.

No surprise to get that reply from a guy who posts on LSE under another name and then comes on here referring to the same post as evidence of some point he's making. Why don't you sit right down and write yourself a letter?

Whatever happened to that old bloke Cautious7? He disappeared once the share price began to recover, and he's not been heard of since. When you can't gloat about a falling share price I suppose posting's not so much fun? As he would sign off ... lol.

stansmith3: That I dont know - Depends if 1/100th of funds is bigger than 1/250th?

The answer depends on the total size of each market. I dont know the answer to that.
If both the same size fund then clearly 1/100th is miles more money than 1/250th.

"Next review is not until June 2nd, ITV may have been swallowed up by then !"

Bloody hope so.

And trust it will be at a reasonable premium to current

Yes every chance of that Ivan. However, the closer we get to June if ITV are in a good chance of regaining their place back at the big table, tracker funds will become new buyers.

Taking a look at the latest FTSE100 valuation update dated 23 March ITV were the 97th largest company, looking good for ITV in the next reshuffle.

Is this a new business area?

am trying to work out if this is a cash investment enabling the beneficiary to advertise on ITV channels or is it an agreed package of advertising time in exchange for equity?

either way, it appears a smart way of creating possible additional value?

very creative - pun intended
