Forgot to add that with the World Cup 2022 taking place next year as well, the Arabs will be full on with their advertising campaign with regards to flights, accommodation, etc. once the Euros are played out.

Crowds will be back for the Euros, and sponsors & advertisers will be bending over backwards come the end of Lockdown, travel & flight companies especially !

Yes - the interesting bit will be any outlook statement for 2021 and 2022.
Clearly in any recession netflix type media loses out and more people switch to 'FREE' ITV hub and iplayer.
Any news about EURO championship will also be welcome. In fact any sports to be shown on ITV over the summer.

Agree Ivan, I think that bad news is already priced in. The market will be looking at the forward looking statement in the FY results for future direction. Any good news regarding advertising & Britbox subscribers should help move the share price north, maybe 150p by June the start of the football Euro's that ITV will be covering.

A near 10% from yesterday lows and results on the 9th March should tempt a few profit takers here I feel. The whole world and his wife know that the numbers are going to be extremely dire but its all about how GS and the market will play this one out. If they push the stock further there is a chance index funds will start to buy ahead of promotion into the FTSE (review on 2nd March)and I very much doubt GS and their mates would welcome this !

Hope you're right, dividends are especially important to me as an income investor. And if they do resume it will need to be a meaningful amount for this share to remain a hold for me, not just a token figure.

I think the resumption of the dividend in 2021 is fairly universally accepted amongst analysts following the company. As is the bounce back in advertising revenues from 2020 possibly even back to 2019 levels - the envy of most businesses!
Most of this data can already be found if you look at the Advertising Agencies industry market forecasts for 2021.
But we will have confirmation soon enough - two weeks.

Not having a go at you mate but what a poor article. He talks of expected yield without mentioning the highly relevant point that dividends have been suspended, which puts the value of any expected divis into question.

I think press tips are all but useless, never follow them myself, but there's an element of confirmation bias amongst people who see merit in them in that they tend to post only those which support their position, whilst ignoring those that don't.

Logically, (I know that's something unusual round here) someone following such tips should read them all and then try and arrive at some sort of net opinion, not just cherry pick those which promote what they want to see, a pretty sure route to failure.

I have a friend works as a technician at the studios, he has heard nothing, seen nothing but say's they are booked solid till 2022/23.

The only thing I have heard about spin offs, is there are going to be two spin off shows from the studios, one a spin off from Love Island and the other a spin off from BGT......nothing about studios being spun off...has someone got some wires crossed.
