While I don't agree completely with your take on that, considering ITM had already cancelled the technology that would be used for the project (R&D), one must ask why they are not proceeding with Poseidon, or any other ITM product for the project..?

Bigger hydrogen product powers ITM

PEM hydrogen electrolysers, such as Shell’s near Cologne, can run on intermittent renewable energy sources such as wind and solar power

The launch of a bigger electrolyser product helped to drive shares in ITM Power higher, even as the hydrogen technology group reported a widened full-year loss.

The Sheffield-based company said it was offering 20-megawatt modules suited to producing green hydrogen for larger projects, such as oil refineries or ammonia production facilities.

Dennis Schulz, who took over as chief executive of the troubled group less than a year ago, described the Poseidon product as a “game-changer for large-scale electrolyser deployments”.

Shares in the company closed up 3¼p, or 3.7 per cent, at 90½p.

Electrolysers use electricity to split water into oxygen and clean-burning hydrogen, a fuel that is expected to be in high demand from companies seeking to decarbonise their operations.

It's going to remain wind, solar and gas, with a couple of big nuclear reactors planned every 10 years to allow for the global population expanding by 2 billion to 2050 with the hope fusion is sorted by 2070 latest

I considered that re R&D and ITMs cancellation. What is now primarily cancelled is the outlook on green hydrogen...the end product of any model..

When you look at the latest strategies of govs to 2060, what percentage role does green hydrogen have?

Forget the peripheral dressing papers. The serious ones forming the plans of tomorrow, today

Economics.

Risky projects --> "Delayed FIDs".
