10/7/2023 09:12 | If it’s not green hydrogen then no point switching from diesel. National Highways is planning to buy and stock hydrogen to fuel the construction machinery that will build the Lower Thames Crossing. | grahamwales
10/7/2023 09:10 | JLEN Environmental Assets Group Ltd on Monday announced a second green hydrogen development opportunity in Germany, investing up to €9.2 million. The green hydrogen production site is located in Lubmin, Germany, JLEN Environmental said. It is capable of producing over 6,000 tonnes or 200,000 megawatt hours of green hydrogen per year during the first 100 megawatt phase, which will encompass electrolysis and integrated high-capacity battery storage. | grahamwales

10/7/2023 08:05 | It was always the intention to increase focus into the EU so that ITM is centered in both UK and EU. We still wishfully think of the GB of old. Yet it is but a shadow of its old self. The depletion of wealth in WWII and migration out of Engineering and concentration of Its Anglo Saxon population giving way to multiculturalism going back to the war has led to the inevitable decline . I doubt the current leadership or its alternative has the brains to return it to near its old self with woke culture contamination We will only break out of the downtrend if Schulz has a few new centi-MW orders to announce on 27th July | norbus
10/7/2023 08:04 | Switzerland not far from Germany | grahamwales
10/7/2023 07:54 | I hope everyone took the great opportunity in the 60's! | moontheloon
10/7/2023 07:53 | I'm sure there's plenty of newsflow to come from the EU.Exciting times... Finally.leading manufacturer of large-scale electrolysers for active projects in Germany and wider Europe today, as well as for future projects which are now in bidding stage. | moontheloon
10/7/2023 07:49 | Dennis Schulz, CEO, said: "This expansion in Germany will not only support responsive aftersales in the heart of the EU as our core market today, but will also be home for various business functions that are enablers for ITM's accelerated growth. As we are scaling our operations, this is a major step in gearing up for an increasing degree of local content creation in the EUIt's moving EU. This pathetic government deserve to lose its hydrogen crown jewels... The country doesn't. | moontheloon
10/7/2023 07:35 | Sensible to have the global business development function based in Linden and sad but true that Denis' interpretation of Global Britain is more realistic than that of the Government. | cerrito
10/7/2023 07:26 | Now giving them the option to either move operations should the UK fail to take advantage of green hydrogen or build a further factory possibly with Linde as a partner perhaps. Plenty of potential across Europe including Ukraine 😉 No point going to the U S as before long will be overrun with electrolyser manufacturers. | grahamwales
10/7/2023 07:06 | A good move. The UK is going nowhere fast on CleanTech. | tenapen
10/7/2023 07:02 | ITM Power Expands in Germany The all-new ITM Power Germany GmbH will officially open its doors in Linden, north of Frankfurt, in October this year. For ITM, this expansion further strengthens our position as a leading manufacturer of large-scale electrolysers for active projects in Germany and wider Europe today, as well as for future projects which are now in bidding stage. In its initial fit-out, ITM Power Germany's new facilities will have office space for more than 50 employees, and a warehouse with special equipment for storing our state-of-the-art stacks in lightweight skids ready for quick deployment as aftersales spares. This allows us to minimise response time to customers, in turn maximising value from the use of our products. It will also house facilities for repair and maintenance, as well as for training of customers and partners. As ITM is increasingly deploying stacks into the field in active customer projects, a rapidly growing amount of real-world performance data will enable us to drive advancements in the areas of core technology and product improvements, development of new business models around remote monitoring/operation ITM Power Germany will also be home of ITM's global business development function, of various engineering disciplines, aftersales technicians, field engineers, procurement and other functions. Dennis Schulz, CEO, said: "This expansion in Germany will not only support responsive aftersales in the heart of the EU as our core market today, but will also be home for various business functions that are enablers for ITM's accelerated growth. 09/7/2023 15:16 | The fids are at snails pace or worse, the governments will only be happy when they let the planet fry completely... Our futures in their inadequate hands is ridiculous. ...We seem to have forgot about the 100mw shell , add it to the other projects and 2 x 100mw rwe we should have a humming factory in the coming years. Surely due some update on the WA trial that has gone quiet . . | moontheloon
