08/2/2023 16:47 | Graham There certainly will be a market, but it will be intensely competitive with lots of people there. There are not many barriers to entry as some of the suppliers are willing to licence their technology. So pretty quickly it will be a low price driven, low profit per unit market. Not a place we want to be when we have the capacities and competences to be in the higher profit segments. Our man was asked in the Q&A whether we would consider licencing - he was fast and firm in responding no. | bmel
08/2/2023 16:03 | Still think there will be a market for smaller units longer term especially if more HGV and busses start using hydrogen regularly. Rather than transporting fuel around the country produce it locally. | grahamwales
08/2/2023 15:36 | Agree moon. The fact that our smaller system offerings are now becoming obsolete shows how far the industry is moving. | hurricane99

08/2/2023 11:12 | Going back to projects, Refhyne II could be one to watch this year. It has funding in place and if ITM can show they have solved their production problems, a FID and contract this year is not out of the question. More broadly, the EU have a major 2030 target for refineries to use 15% clean hydrogen. Given lead in times, that alone should force the pace from 2024 onwards and will be a major catalyst for the sector. Anyone not wanting to be late will need to start signing contracts to get their place in the queue. National hydrogen strategies likely to kick in around a similar time. So its very much a case of using 2023 to get the house in order ahead of the very big years to come. The new boss has set exactly the right priorities and we have two short term projects (Leuna and Yara) we can measure progress against. As he said himself, its all doable and having an operating factory and some harsh lessons learned are big advantages when you look at Plug, Fortescue et al. From an investors point of view, that feels like a good mix. | clabburn

07/2/2023 19:08 | You have spotted one of the gems there , sonic. Check Post 4702 for a few more bits on Enap, and Linde. HyPro Aconcagua is a 20 MW project, but I doubt we are actually working on that one just yet, if that one even is ear-marked for ITM. | gimmethefax
