Octopus filled up at Motive not so long ago


We'll supply customers with fuel-cell grade green hydrogen at 350 or 700 bar in batches ranging from 200kg to 1000kg. Prices start at £5.30 per kilogram.

Hydrogen is delivered directly to customer sites using mobile hydrogen storage and dispensing solutions using a zero emission hydrogen-powered HGV.

i didn't know it was common practice for most companies on a regular basis. It just strikes me as odd that one year after seeking authority for, and issuing circa. 60m shares, the authority was sought to potentially issue approx. 409m more - even if it may not get used. Maybe whatever it was potentially for is no longer a consideration.

I hadn't seen the AGM items raised on this board before and wanted to put them out there for discussion. Did anyone attend the AGM in person and was anything mentioned at the time?


I agree, the way things stand ITM have plenty of cash at the moment.

Most companies if not all request authority to issue new shares wether they intend to or not.

Short positions have been open for some time now some are in profit some in a loss position.

October is a long way off and as things stand there is no need to raise cash even if they decide to build new unit in Australia as a JV with Linde.


Just my opinions.

Hi All - first time post for me here

I've been reading these threads for a long time. Recently i've been trying to figure out why the short position is what it is, and based on what i've seen i wanted to share the following (which may have already been spotted but not shared in public).

Observations:
1. the short position increase from around 3% to 5.9% started from the 30th September

2. That was the same day the notice of the AGM went out

3. In that notice, resolutions 9 & 10 relate to the authority to issue new shares and dis-application of pre-emption rights. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU LOOK THIS NOTICE UP AND HAVE A READ FOR YOURSELVES, plus the notes on page 4

4. on the 28th october both of those resolutions were voted through with around 95% votes for


my conclusion:
Something big is brewing, for which the company now has authority to issue up to 409m new shares before 30th October 2023.

I think this may be what the shorts are waiting for (if it happens). There might be other things too, but this is what i see from publicly available information.
