So Brewin hold 1.6345%.....presumably in addition to holding 2.46% for private clients......?

Rainmaker - are you around? Any comment on events? Thanks in advance.

Thats what i was thinking, if it could be brought to AIM around 50p raising tens of millions and sold back around 2.5 years later circa 2.5p.

Got to be a case for the Serouse Fraud Office i would have thought to boot

So insiders making an offer to themselves!!...one comedy show with the insiders trying to have a good laugh at the expense of the outside shareholders...why are insiders interested in buying a company if trading is tough?...does that mean if they buy the company the trading performance will improve!!...more like they want to reap the benefits without having to share with other shareholders!!...

This lousy set of directors could not even get the first RNS right! Glad I sold @ 2.25p. All the best to those still in.

That is a derisory offer. The problem will now be about trust in management to deliver on behalf of shareholders if that is their idea of a reasonable offer. An Action Group is going to be needed here on the lines of the one we had against the directors at FDM Group where we increased the offer by nearly 35% not that it would make a huge difference here !!

Agreed Vactel - an absolute disgrace. Makes you wonder whether it is worth investing in Aim companies at all if this is what directors can do and get away with. Surely the FSA should look at something like this.

As of the end of August, the holdings were as follows:

Gordon Smith 15.38%
Hargreave Hale Ltd. 7.57%
Octopus InvestmentS Limited 7.32%
Polar Capital Partners Ltd. 5.22%
UBS Global Asset Management (UK) Ltd. 3.26%
Barclays Private Bank (U.K.) - Private Clients 2.77%
Compania Da Inversiones Y Asesorias S.A 2.66%
Brewin Dolphin Limited - Private Clients 2.46%
P.E.P Beteiligungsgesellschaft MBH 1.98%
B&G Associates LLC 1.73%

Gordon Smith raised his stake to 15.74% in October 2009, but other than that, the rest seems to be accurate.

So that's 34.97% in Insti. hands. Will they sell at 2.6p per share?

The company was floated at 49p less than three years ago!

These people are having a laugh.

Dell, not only that, but the offers seem to be getting more and more audacious. Pitching an offer at a substantial discount to the market price is a new (and disgusting) low.

Yes, it looks like another group of directors using recent market turmoil to stiff their shareholders and line their own pockets.

Are there any directors left who feel any responsibility to shareholders?
