10/11/2021 00:06 | Love it, love it, love it "We are delighted to be able to announce this transaction today, which has taken a great deal of hard work by the teams on both sides over many months," said chief executive officer Martin Eales. "Ironveld is issuing new equity at a large premium with a supportive new partner. "Grosvenor is taking a substantial stake in Ironveld and is focused on ensuring near-term development of Ironveld's project for the benefit of all shareholders." | malcolmmm

09/11/2021 22:48 | Well, after years on the sidelines, I finally took a very small position in Ironveld yesterday at 0.94p. In for the long term, until the story changes or we get hugely overvalued. I'm not far from Ladeside in my view that this could develop in to a £50 million market cap company in the next 12 months, but that involves a GC company sticking to it's claimed timescale... we'll see if all the skeletons are dealt with and things progress smoothly over the next few months. Was surprised to see TDH on here recently :-) | al101uk
09/11/2021 21:16 | Still profoundly mispriced. Share price re-rate should now gather pace following key approvals. The in-situ value of the company's assets is literally multiples of the current market cap. EUA mark II? I certainly think so. AIMHO | researchguru1
09/11/2021 19:06 | Grosvenor will want Iron to push ahead now they have commited the funds I would have thought, they won't want to hang around | malcolmmm
09/11/2021 18:50 | Interview with Martin Eales 26 October, he says they intend to build a smelter next to the mine, and it can all be done in 12 months. Watch from about 3 minutes in: I think he's talking about building a 5MW smelter to start with, and scaling up later, so not the 15MW smelter that was intended originally back in 2015. | vatnabrekk
09/11/2021 18:35 | according to this we already have a smelter Ironveld snaps up Middelburg smelter to bring forward production “The anticipated profits and free cash flow from the Smelting Plant will place the Company in a considerable position of strength," picture of smelter High purity iron is one of the products Ironveld will produce Ironveld PLC (LON:IRON) jumped 16% as it agreed a deal to acquire the Middelburg smelter formerly owned by Jubilee Platinum (LON:JLP). Peter Cox, Ironveld’s chief executive, said: "This potential acquisition is a unique opportunity for the company to produce HPI, vanadium and titanium significantly earlier than previously envisaged and begin selling this to our offtake partners and receiving revenues. “As the smelter and convertor only require refurbishment there is no construction risk and operating the facility will significantly de-risk the project by ensuring early validation of our high quality products. WATCH: Ironveld eyeing up production and profitabilty by Q1 next year, says CEO Peter Cox Jubilee sold it to Siyanda Resources for £5.3mln in 2015 and Siyanda is now passing it onto Ironveld for an initial £2.9mln in cash and shares. This will be followed by two further payments of £4mln on the first and second anniversaries of the signing of the memorandum of understanding. The agreement includes a 70% stake in Power Alt, which owns a 10.6Mw power plant at the site Due diligence has been done and once the deal completes, Ironveld will upgrade the site to process high purity iron, vanadium and titanium from its deposit at Bushveld in the Limpopo province of South Africa. “The anticipated profits and free cash flow from the Smelting Plant will place the Company in a considerable position of strength," said Cox. 09/11/2021 18:24 | Yes, I'd agree with that hedge, as for the cash in the Bank, I remember many were stung by RRR with Cypriot Banks, Russian Gangsters and Oubilette's, however GC isn't Andrew Bell and if GC expects the cash to be received in the next 3 weeks, then I'd fully expect that to be the case. As you say, I'm also pretty sure that they've already lined up the rest of the funding and I'm also sure we'll be hearing of that very soon, plus the confirmation of the required permits for the Luge licences which is just another string to our now very substantial bow !! | ladeside

09/11/2021 18:19 | - Ironveld has submitted its critical infrastructure programme application for its 15MW smelter to South Africa's Department of Trade and Industry. The CIP is an investment incentive of the South African government to stimulate investment growth in line with the National Industrial Policy Framework (NIPF) and its Industrial Policy Action Plan (IPAP). The incentive programme aims to enhance investment by supporting critical infrastructure, thus lowering the business costs of investment. The CIP is a cost-sharing grant of a maximum of 30% of the total infrastructure development costs capped at R30 million per project based on the achieved score in the economic benefit criteria. If successful, Ironveld could receive a grant of approximately R15m. | johncasey
09/11/2021 18:16 | I think the newsflow will start rolling now the investment is approved, as the funds are in escrow. The experience of KZG, another Giles Clarke company, is very different: there was no binding contract, and the investors didn't have the funds. So a totally different situation here, with a vastly bigger in-situ asset. Though news of receipt of funds should still be received positively. I would certainly expect a re-rating up into the 2p - 3p range short term once the right newsflow is arriving. But that should just be for starters, with far higher gains further out very possible. | hedgehog 100
09/11/2021 17:59 | Can anyone remember how much the 15MW smelter will cost to build? | vatnabrekk
09/11/2021 17:57 | It will be interesting to see how the market reacts to this in the morning. Will it be seen as the hurdles cleared and the start of the re-rate as we head towards production ? Or will some remain sceptical until 30th November or when the funds are finally received ?? Irrespective it's all good and I'm sure we could very well have another RNS in the not too distant future..... | ladeside

09/11/2021 16:56 | ZPRH had raised 10m at 2p with a market cap of about 20m earlier this year. They were just like IRON in having everything already mapped out to guarantee a certain future. Eventually, they hit 7.5p intraday a couple of months after, and still are around 6.5p with huge hopes. | luckyabbeygale
