08/6/2022 19:49 | bing_b - thanks. Will do. | lord loads of lolly
08/6/2022 18:20 | Fwiw I can see this momentum picking up over next days and month rather than a pull back. Looking at what the company could be with the right approach from the new CEO it looks cheap if you ignored the false dawns we have all seen and commented on. Time, as ever, will be the one that provides the truth | savvy investor

08/6/2022 17:23 | Should we expect a trading update this month? | hutchmeister
08/6/2022 16:39 | Guild, if Spreadex are short they will either be proved right or wrong as will Richard Griffiths, place your bets. I guess the question is, does Richard Griffiths have some more pertinent knowledge about tech and IQE than the shorters and have the latter just placed their bet on the quick rise of IQE share price from 26p, assuming like the recent past that it will run out of steam and drop back sharply? Spreadex already looking at a fairly hefty loss on their ‘bet’ if they are short ;0 | crosswires
08/6/2022 16:38 | A last minute place of an order at 41p got the stock for the sell and buyers 16:35:12 41.00 381,442 UT | master rsi
08/6/2022 16:37 | If that is a rise based on momentum and no news then it's good news indeed. I would expect a drop back tomorrow from profit takers but still see more upside on Friday. | 1collijo
08/6/2022 16:35 | Savvy - absolutely agree on all your points. Look forward to hearing more of your opinions. Disclaimers and all! | bing_b
08/6/2022 16:35 | UT at 41.25p most likely sells 40.9 1,201 16:32 40.9 10,414 16:32 40.95 7,234 16:32 41.05 10,342 16:33 41.05 2,589 16:34 41.05 5,280 16:34 41.1 10,059 16:34 41.25 150,000 16:31 | master rsi
08/6/2022 16:32 | Be lovely to hold 40p this week as it has been a stumbling point this year | longtallsally
08/6/2022 16:30 | What to make of that RNS? Spreadex LTD City have borrowed over 3.48% of shares from someone? I thought this share was due a big rise week or so ago but many here were not as confident as me. Got to read the news feed and the back story. Can it maintain at 40p? | guildedge
08/6/2022 16:28 | It’s momentum not an incoming RNS. We don’t want to end up posting about incoming RNS every time we go up ;) However it’s very gratifying to see that some of us took the recent weakness to bolster our holdings, and as someone said recently this has all the same hallmarks of IQEs rise from 2016-17. Let’s hope it is more sustainable this time. I also echo LTS comment that rather go up a little and often than risk the large rise and falls associated with the latest “thing” | tomduck
08/6/2022 16:28 | Bing, agree. But also note I always try to dampen my own optimistic posts with disclaimers to say don’t listen to me and do your own research. People that are not genuine would never post like I do. I never, repeat never, want anyone to buy OR sell based on what I say, I am giving opinions and I know some people value them and have made good money from them… there is certainly a lot of people now interested in IQE and the markets they are leaders in! | savvy investor
08/6/2022 16:23 | Guys. Two top posters. Savvy you are clearly genuine, informed and enthusiastic. This is great and the sharing of your knowledge and thought process is much appreciated (by me at least). But I can see Lords point. You appear so knowledgeable and enthusiastic that some people could follow your lead blindly without researching as thoroughly as you do yourself. Thats not a criticism by the way just recognition of an observation. No-one here is infallible (this is IQE after all). Two top posters. Please call a truce, continue to post and enjoy today's price rise. Apologies for butting in 😀. | bing_b
08/6/2022 16:22 | Up to 4th on the top % gainers of the day. RNS tomorrow maybe ? | 1collijo
08/6/2022 16:19 | At this rate of rising, 41p will be seen before close | master rsi
08/6/2022 16:07 | Likewise Lord I welcome they click and see how often and what you post. you can’t seem to stop asking people to interrogate 2 year old posts that I have said myself are over optimistic but based on good optimistic views of the market. You said the same when I was right with the price rising from 22 to 66 but it doesn’t suit you to remember this. Good luck | savvy investor
08/6/2022 16:06 | 40p is going to be broken easily as the order book is very strong on the bid side | master rsi
08/6/2022 15:57 | savvy investor - I've made my point. Like I said, it wasn't meant to be personal. Just giving some context. No sense in dwelling on it. Anyone interested can always log into their advfn account, click on your past posts and judge for themselves. | lord loads of lolly
08/6/2022 15:48 | People will always shake out when the price goes to over 4p rise on the day. Still think the price will go over 40p by the end of the day. | 1collijo
08/6/2022 15:43 | And your attack on my credibility built on confidence on markets that didn’t yet accelerate for different reasons is what Lord? | savvy investor
08/6/2022 15:39 | Always good to keep an open mind (which filtering sometimes prevents). But context is also important, which is why I made today's comments - and stand by them. I'm as keen as the next investor for IQE to succeed, having a six figure sum at stake here. But IMHO, when we start getting posts from new? "chartists", suggesting "80 before resistance and then another significant move up (£1.30min???)", it's time to deflate (if not burst) their bubble. | lord loads of lolly
08/6/2022 15:23 | So long as the posts on the board are balanced views and not some of the ramping that went on in the past everyone should be free to post what they like. We can already see the rising price and interest has bought more posters (some of whom have posted the same posts on the LSE board) and I expect this will continue further if the price goes past 40 and consolidates. Also of someone is not your cup of tea posts wise then filter them, easy and then you need not be annoyed ;) | longtallsally
08/6/2022 15:21 | Damn I missed that 22 ☹️ | nakedjeff |
