27/3/2019 17:21 | So Blackrock bought back a load of shorted shares yesterday.... | jamesrowe
27/3/2019 16:45 | Nice one Bocase. So the price range set by Edison is 91-99p this up from 73p based on their previous report. Lumentum is up over 2.5 %. Over to the sad ones on the board, please share your thoughts and mocks. | mhassanriaz
27/3/2019 16:17 | Thanks for sharing bocase | owenga
27/3/2019 16:10 | Very detailed and I would say very positive analysis out this afternoon from Edison: Enjoy! | bocase
27/3/2019 13:55 | After a bright start, Infineons profit warning looks like it's affecting IQE's share price along with other European Semis. | blueflame
27/3/2019 13:34 | Thank you Taffy. Even the business highlights are confusing: " • Throughput, uniformity and yield all significantly better than expected at the outset of the Newport project and now operating 24/7 from March 2019 • 12 photonics customers already qualifying the Newport facility on the five reactors already released for qualification; customer audits proceeding well" So the new reactors are operating 24/7 from March but only 5 of them are "released for qualification" and no customers have completed qualification of any of them yet?? Does this mean that the new reactors are now fully staffed and incurring maximum operational costs but are not generating any revenue?? and "5G opportunities secured as market interest accelerates" presumably means in plain English that we haven't won any 5G customers yet but hope that we might, possibly, maybe in future!! | jamesrowe
27/3/2019 13:00 | I 'think' I'm right in saying that since last October, Oppenheimer have increased their holding by around 100m shares [to 140m] at an average purchase price of around 88p? Their last top-up was around the 19-03-2019 at 89p? After licking their wounds following the results, and pausing for breath, I wonder if the 2.55p rise today to 68.85p was due to them snapping up a few more million at say 66p? 23p or 25% cheaper? - what a bargain! A pure 'GUESS' on my part, but an RNS in the next couple of days may throw some light on it. GLA! | regasclockwork
27/3/2019 11:53 | Loch Ness monster forming Excellent upward indicator probably | thereptile

27/3/2019 11:39 | Today the "buy to sell" ratio stands at more than 3:1. Interesting to note that following each down trend cycle, follows a rise of more than 30p. (if one looks at the various peaks). | fuji99
27/3/2019 10:45 | Thanks Regas - I still believe that in 1 month or so, some skeptics will ask themselves the first question - why they didn't buy at 65p, then the same question again, a few months later - why they didn't buy again around £1... | fuji99
27/3/2019 10:02 | thanks Regas... for your response, I started to come to the same conclusions too. | berber1
27/3/2019 07:24 | Peel Hunt issues broker note this morning. Reiterates buy with target 137p It is no great news but at least it is not a downgrade. | bocase

27/3/2019 00:17 | berber126 Mar '19 - 17:12 - 25485 of 25486 "Regas..., what makes you think, such upmarket technology company would go under." -End- Hi berber, I don't think IQE will 'go under', but I do hope it will be taken over sooner rather than later as there are too many mixed messages coming from management with inflated future earnings/prospects which fail to impress ["Earnings WILL be AT LEAST £27.5m". Actual: £26m] and certain PI's who speak in riddles. For example, it beats me why someone would finish off a very upbeat post with the following: sweenoid26 Feb '19 - 07:19 - 24725 of 25485 [IQE 84p] "I have lost count of the multitude of times I have said ‘don’t ‘invest’ Seems strange coming from a person who possibly holds 4-5 million IQE shares. Following 6-losing days on the trot we had a winning one on Tuesday. That could entice Sweeney to return to the fold. Might be worth asking him the question? I wish you good luck and the same to all. | regasclockwork
26/3/2019 23:44 | It's great that these new phones are being shipped with technology requiring more vcsels, but this new demand for vcsels hasn't exactly helped IQE's order book over the last few months. | 1mthead

26/3/2019 17:12 | Regas..., what makes you think, such upmarket technology company would go under. This company is at expansion stage, and results are irrelevant. it survived the dotcom era, survived the 2008 credit crash, I am sure there is a very long and fruitful life for the patients. | berber1
26/3/2019 16:41 | Strong finish here today. It looks like I arrived just in the nick of time for the bounce off 65p support. Perfect ! | american idiot
26/3/2019 12:25 | I do a daily shop in ASDA and always have a 'free read' of the tabloids. A few days back I read with some sadness that two or more participants in the series 'Love Island' had committed suicide. The object of the exercise [so I'm told] is to 'shag yourself silly' for a few weeks before being released back into 'the real world'. Some contestants complained that on release they weren't offered counselling, unlike the forces returning from IRAQ for example. Where is help when you need it? I feel that I have been 'painfully shafted' by IQE recently ["Earnings WILL be AT LEAST £27.5m". Actual: £26m] and am hoping that they have counselling in place in case the unthinkable happens, that being we lose ALL our money 'invested' as has been suggested could happen by, the 'top man' on here. I don't think that will happen, but it's best to fear the worst - just in case. GLA! | regasclockwork
