Brahms agree. Also interesting to see the regular large eod AH trades.

That is true. Two days in a row it's also flirted with the low 20's. Higher highs and higher lows. Hallmarks of an uptrend. Always like some consolidation though. If nothing else to curb bb enthusiasm.

Some good quotes there grity...

"Personally I haven't seen such a breakout in our part of the industry since the advent of digital handsets and smartphones decades ago," Croteau said during the April call. "It's shaping up to be that big."

"With rapidly developing backlog, program awards and customer commitments, it's now clear that 100G and greater optical connectivity in data centers is real and it's far bigger and (happening) far sooner than anyone in the industry has predicted," Croteau said.

Potential, don't talk tosh. I know that because I was just testing ;)

It is not Skyworks we are waiting for audit
Do you know what this audit is all about?

And therefore your statement is as pointless as is that you bought 50k, lol.

Gee , some of you guys are clueless, it's an audit by MACOMS customers on their GAN RF solution for base-stations
It's nothing to do with Skyworks and we WONT find out today

No matter how much I feed some of you it makes no difference to your comprehension , I I just don't know why I bother.

@Someuwin. Should be required reading.

And without wishing to get antsy, we do IQE a disservice, IMO, if we call them a supplier of raw materials. Intermediate products would be better. IQE is no more a supplier of raw materials than Mary Berry knows how to serve up flour.

There is of course IP in high-end (wafer-level) packaging of optical sensor assemblies, but run of the mill backend slicing, dicing and packaging is, well, run of the mill. Look at the low margins of pakaging houses like Amkor for ex.

Cut and paste, part of Sweenoid's post 3804 -

Re GAN again

Yeah, the initial design-ins we have, we actually have more frequency bands now than we had before. I think I talked about 900 megahertz and 1.8 gigahertz, we now have wins with 3.5 and 2.3. And all of those initial quals completed, we have additional quals completing in September. We have a major customer audit, which is the conclusion of all of this qualifications stuff, August 10. Full expectation, that's going to go well in which case, we're going to be off to the races with geometric proliferation of program wins on a go-forward basis. But let me say, what I've always said, which is we're not through the gate until we're through the gate. August 10 is not – this is August 1, not August 10. So, everything is looking very, very exciting. My confidence genuinely over the past year, quarter-to-quarter-to-quarter has continued to grow, the inflection point, could be within the next 30 days.

Because most of us who work for big named tech companies have some pride and decent morals. :-) Plus, do you really need the company to tell you they're in the iPhone? Perhaps a few more throw away comments would help. lol

The PH numbers being bandied about here are from a throwaway press remark regarding 2018 in a perfect world See the comment here:
