Maxwell-yep, the benefit of 3D sensing 'component' makers, inferring ( they have to infer and suggest, otherwise Apple smacks their bottoms, is that the wider investment market gets continually reminded that the ramp is real :-). Mind you IQEdid the same in the IMS....but only if you know, you know. :-)

One question-it now looks certain that the new Smartphones out there will get the Time of Flight autofocus VCSEL application on at least one of the camera's, can someone supply a list of the 2-3 component suppliers that are able to produce those, we need to be looking as carefully at them as the 3D sensor guys like Lumentum, Finisair and Viavi

Moved across from OPM. Hoped for a sharper rise there, but 7% in 10 days is reasonable. Volumes have dried up so it's likely to stagnate. IQE however doesn't look like it will stand still for a while...

I wonder what they are supplying to Raytheon? Being a 'Supplier of Excellence' to a US defence manufacturer with annual revenue of $25 billion is no bad thing. I wonder if they're providing 3D optical sensors for those? So many options there, and if you have the right product in that market they will pay through the nose for it.

poombear - the barbed one you refer to might be me. It wasn't meant to be critical, just warning people that he can be intolerant of people posting here if they have not done their research (and I should have used that terminology but I was rushing comment out while in transit from India to the UK). Well miffed at the moment. Been pushing a pension transfer for 2+ months now and have finally ticked all the required boxes. Just spoken to the current provider and there internal processes will take 3 to 4 weeks to kick off the transfer - by which time IQE will probably be significantly higher. I'm just praying it comes ahead of the September statement - although secretly hoping for a tree shake/sell on the news type dip just as the funds land!!

Wasn't there a gap around 90p that needed filling!! LOL!

What other company is supplying into (and is increasingly central to) all these tech driven trends...

Mobile phones, Internet infrastructure, Data centres, IoT, Solar, LED lighting, Autonomous Cars, Power transmission, Robotics etc etc.

All these markets are just going to grow and grow....As it IQE.
