19/4/2017 11:07 | No i am sold | shanieboy01
19/4/2017 10:53 | Shanie still here thought your gone at 55. Or was that fake news. | jugu
19/4/2017 10:40 | Thought brexit caused a 15% devaluation in sterling and also thought iqe share price was up by a similar margin. What happens if sterling recovers?? | shanieboy01
19/4/2017 10:40 | By the manner in which the trades were walked down and now up, I would not be surprised if another large buy gets reported in the near future! | adventurous
19/4/2017 10:35 | £ goes up. £ goes down. It was ever thus. Currency gyrations are tangental to the real value now embedded in this company. Unless you're some species of short-term trader it's an irrelevance. | lurki0
19/4/2017 10:20 | a few 'statements in the chairman's introduction in the 2016 annual report caught my eye and in no particular order and leaving a lot of good stuff out which you can all read yourselves. the possibilities are seemingly endless A number of milestones achieved in 2016 provide a good lead indicator of significant growth opportunities ahead strengthening direct engagements with multiple tier 1 OEM's reflecting IQE's strong IP position etc etc etc but the quote I like best is "As I look ahead I couldn't be more excited about our position and the growth prospects for our industry and its clear that the opportunities ahead are even brighter [...] IQE's position in the supply chain does not provide us with the status of being a household name amongst consumers, however it never ceases to amaze me at the high-esteem held for IQE across our supply chain, including a number of major multinational companies, we are restricted by NDA's across this supply chain which means we are unable to name our customers but the feedback from major international events is testament to the professionalism, expertise and integrity of our teams" the talk about £ and $ is a bit non sensical to me - the 'devaluation' in the £ occurred after the Brexit vote last June - the entire of the 1st 6 months of this year will be at least at a discount of 10% to the comparitor in the 1st 6 months of last year even if the £ is 1.35 which i contest it will be ;-) S | sweenoid
19/4/2017 10:00 | Strong sterling will see figs down next year, so maybe £/$ has put a damper on this rise. Even $1.35/£ talked about by banks. That would reduce eps/ebitda etc... Long term, it won't effect IQE's prospects IMO. | bone apart
19/4/2017 09:43 | Panic in the land of the rubberneckers ;) | richardc77
19/4/2017 09:23 | we have a large seller, will be reported late | big7ime
19/4/2017 09:14 | "the results won't be as good as expected now just wait. This is IQE with greedy share diluting directors at the helm" Calm down, dear. And don't forget to change hands at 100. Meanwhile, back in the real world.... | lurki0
19/4/2017 09:13 | Much cheaper than their US counterparts | big7ime
19/4/2017 08:41 | Let it bounce rinse and repeat. Tgt 35p | toptrump1
19/4/2017 08:10 | The strengthening of the pound shouldn't be the major part though, the profits I reckon could start accelerating faster than analysts have pencilled in. | big7ime
19/4/2017 08:09 | This will be 85p by June.. | big7ime
19/4/2017 03:12 | Don't underestimate the strengthening of sterling. Today's fall is directly correlated to it. Personally I think stg devalued way too much and it will have to rise sooner rather than later. | shanieboy01
18/4/2017 23:30 | Typical IQE. We had 2 RNS' where major holders sold down some of their holdings and the share price rose. Today, we get another major holder (3%) on board and the share price tanks !! Suppose its just negative sentiment with the dollar depreciating but was surprised by the volume. For me 50p is fair value on the current news and would be tempted to start building a new position if it get below that price. | lpavlou
18/4/2017 18:49 | Oh dear, our turn for the clowns to come out and play 🤡 | richardc77
18/4/2017 18:43 | Nothing wrong here. Just a bit of panic generated by a mark down on a big news day to trigger a few stop losses. Anything under 50p and we'll be in good value territory. | lord gnome
18/4/2017 17:57 | "this is a sign of significant institutional selling" Hmmm. More like a sign of significant selling by the hordes who had been holding in the expectation of the sp's momentum continuing to and beyond the prices prophesied by the scribblers. Nothing wrong with that, of course. But to imply that serious institutional investors are baling out is a bit mischievous. | lurki0
18/4/2017 17:24 | 8 million shares purchased and a fund exceeds 3% holding - MMs trying to get some cheap stock IMHO | big_cat
18/4/2017 17:16 | Total volume of 18 million, share price down almost 10%. As I said earlier, this is a sign of significant institutional selling. This stock needs to build another solid base before breaking out again. I'm pretty sure this will lead to another massive upside move, but I'm happy to sit on the sidelines until signs of that move begin. Don't fall in love, guys. | maffs1
18/4/2017 16:58 | MMs certainly got some cheap stock today....8 million shares purchased !! | big_cat
18/4/2017 16:46 | I know mate, I know. Don't worry mate I take you seriously :) Down to 35!! | texas_caddy
18/4/2017 16:45 | Same chart pattern virtually exact if you lay one over the other. But you knew what I meant. | toptrump1
18/4/2017 16:37 | Yeah, cause technology is exactly the same now as it was in 2011. Waiting on my Samsung S2 being delivered! Down to 35! | texas_caddy |
