"Ipoint-Media IPoint Media FY pretax narrows, sales rise; says confident on future LONDON (AFX) - IPoint-media PLC, a provider of broadband 3G/IP video interactive application platforms, posted a narrowed full-year pretax loss on increased revenue and said it looks forward to the future with confidence. The company, which in 2006 acquired iPoint USA Corp by way of a reverse takeover, posted full-year pretax loss of 949,262 stg, compared with 1.84 mln a year ago, on revenue of 1.66 mln stg, up from 676,826 stg a year ago. The company said that despite posting a loss on modest revenue in 2006, it believes there are "strong growth prospects" in its key markets." and this looks promising also: "Ipoint-Media iPoint Media teams with IBM to deliver mobile video solution; terms undisclosed LONDON (AFX) - iPoint-Media PLC said IBM Corp will act as the prime contractor for the delivery of its Vitrage mobile video calling solution to a major international broadcasting organisation as part of its teaming agreement with IBM. iPoint, a provider of broadband 3G/IP video interactive application platforms, said that the Vitrage platform will be used on a trial basis by the broadcaster and if successful will lead to a significant six figure recurring annual revenue stream.
