IP Group plc - Director's share purchase

IP Group plc (LSE: IPO) ("IP Group" or "the Group" or "the Company"), the developer of intellectual property-based businesses, has been notified that on 08 May 2018, Professor David Begg, Non-executive Director, purchased a total of 8,000 Ordinary Shares of 2p each at a price of 137.2 pence per share.

Following this purchase, Professor Begg now has a total beneficial interest in 50,391 Ordinary Shares, representing less than 0.1% of the current issued share capital of the Company. The below notification, in accordance with the requirements of the EU Market Abuse Regulation, gives further details on the transaction on 8 May 2018.
