Gets a write up in shares magazine today as a growth stock to buy at a reasonable price. Potential target for sector consolidation. Pre-tax profit forecast to grow 10% in both 2022 and 2023.

FarHorizons, can I ask if you have some connection with the company? I assume you do, given that you haven't posted on ADVFN about any other company over the years.
Agree with you that Angus has done a good job, although share price performance over the last 2 years hasn't been great. Agree with you too that any bid would need to be at a respectable premium (aren't they all?), but anything over 4 quid should do the trick for most shareholders imo/

All shareholders should express gratitude to Angus for his leadership of the company over 22 years. It has had its ups and downs in the early years but performance since 2008 has been awesome and he has built a fine company. Good luck to Reece for the future - big boots to fill.
I suspect that Angus will hang on to his holding and reduce it slowly although there may be scope for a bid but only at a respectable premium to current/recent levels.

With Mcsween retiring, and holding a 15% stake, are we going to see a big stock overhang? Or maybe he'll cash in his chips to a bidder? Now would seem the perfect time for any potential acquiror to approach the board imo.

....and with little/no narrative by way of explanation. Although unspectacular, the results/outlook weren’t so bad, were they?

This is a very quiet board and company does not put out much in the way of statements . 29 vacancies on website.

One of my biggest holdings as in cash at the moment waiting but the fundamentals on IOM seem good Love to get positive and negative thoughts too if any one has any views ? Thanks in advance

Nice rise . Chart looking good no impact hardly from C19 as their recent statement so to me a good investment I've topped up .

No, it's the opposite actually, but requires different processes, approaches and tools.

'Cloud' is more vulnerable security-wise. Or is that a myth? Anyway, selling both cloud & then the security for it on top seems a plausible wheeze.

Lots of value here - the current crises is going to accelerate migration to the cloud (what I'm seeing on the ground working in tech and our company and many customers are already heavy cloud users) and Iomart is very well placed in this market. Plus cyber security, of course.

It is still very good value as a medium to long term investment.
If it sits around 300p for a bit, it is possible that the long awaited bid may materialise.

Pretty solid statement with minimal impact so far, but with the expected cautionary tones on profit warning statements to follow in due course.

Stock is sat in no man's land at the moment, but I'd rather be a buyer back down around 230 (surprise surprise!) again than the 287 on offer here atm.

Wow. Wooosh!

Stock has gone from 225 to near 300 now in a flash. I think long term might now be short term :-D

Oversold bear bounces were due!
