Good to see CEO purchase. I sold 50% of my holding today. Do this when I want to reduce risk (not fight market) but want to keep in touch with view of repurchase.

The CFO has seen enough of this ridiculous fall and has made his maiden purchase of shares, buying £13k's worth at 328.75p:

As for the prior post, the core adjusted profit for H1 actually rose 7% to £12.4m. The statutory profit fell, primarily because IOM had to provide additional deferred consideration for an acquisition which has performed much better than expected. This is rather a nice problem to have :o))

Is it a concern that profits fell despite increase in revenue? As so much revenue is from recurring business, surely they would not need to increase costs of sales and administration.

From IC today:

'The forward PE and enterprise/cash profits (EV/EBITDA) multiples both represent modest discounts to their historical averages. But we think the strength of the underlying results, combined with “substantial” growth in the sales pipeline after a restructuring of the sales and marketing activities, could underpin future upgrades, particularly in view of the fact that many industries are now only at the start of their journey to the cloud. We reiterate our buy call. Buy.'

Good results today:

Incredibly high recurring revenues mean the business will continue to prosper, especially given the continued growth in the cloud.

IOM are well on track for the forecast almost 20p EPS this year, and more acquisitions are likely, driving up EPS forecasts.

A confident outlook too:

"The high levels of visibility within our recurring revenue business model and strong cost control provides stability to our trading performance for the second half of the year, ensuring the full year should deliver a similar overall year on year progression as we have reported in the first half. We remain very confident in the Group's long term prospects."

A nice bounce off 370p would be a retest of the downward trend confirming the breakout at 400p seen today.Nice of the crash to hold off.Yours Ever Hopefulvb6

I bought in on the recent dip.It needs to get over 400p to form a breakout of the downward trend. Here's hoping the market crash can hold off for that to happen. Yoursvb6

Increased my holding, maybe too soon, maybe at a great time.Despite the silliness over last few days, a good company is still a good company.

Hell-bent on reaching 350p do you think ?!
'Why' is the question. Because of markets in general?

I have a theory about that. An iomart sharesave scheme just matured and I think a lot of employees who received shares dumped them straight away.

My understanding is that the three recent relatively small acquisitions will cumulatively add significant revenue and, more importantly, margin.
Hopefully this will be identified in the November trading statement.

It's far too early to say anything other than trading in line in terms of specifics.

It's the overall tone of the update, which is as confident and bullish as I've ever seen from IOM.
