A nice bounce off 370p would be a retest of the downward trend confirming the breakout at 400p seen today.Nice of the crash to hold off.Yours Ever Hopefulvb6

RNS - interims to be out on 4th December. Given the recent trading update they should read extremely well.

I bought in on the recent dip.It needs to get over 400p to form a breakout of the downward trend. Here's hoping the market crash can hold off for that to happen. Yoursvb6

Increased my holding, maybe too soon, maybe at a great time.Despite the silliness over last few days, a good company is still a good company.

Hell-bent on reaching 350p do you think ?!
'Why' is the question. Because of markets in general?

I have a theory about that. An iomart sharesave scheme just matured and I think a lot of employees who received shares dumped them straight away.

My understanding is that the three recent relatively small acquisitions will cumulatively add significant revenue and, more importantly, margin.
Hopefully this will be identified in the November trading statement.

It's far too early to say anything other than trading in line in terms of specifics.

It's the overall tone of the update, which is as confident and bullish as I've ever seen from IOM.

Very encouraging H1 trading update today - looks like IOM are experiencing an upwards change of pace and confidence. No wonder the share price is re-rating:

"The Group has continued to perform strongly in the first half of the financial year. Trading in the six months ending 30 September 2018 has been in line with management expectations, with both revenue and trading profits expected to be well ahead of the comparative period last year, including the contribution from the acquisitions made in the previous financial year.....

......"iomart's continued strong trading performance is a reflection of the strength of our cloud capabilities and business model, the breadth of our customer base and the ongoing growth of the cloud market. With a significant and sustainable market opportunity ahead of us, a growing sales pipeline and high levels of revenue visibility, we look to the second half of the year and beyond with confidence."

I took a bit off (20%) the table here having held from 2014. Will run the rest though as I'm not ruling out some corporate activity here.

Soaring in fact....:o))

I suspect the high recurring income and solid growth potential are key to attracting investors at a time when markets are a little uncertain.

Interesting - looks like IOM have been busy making acquisitions which fall underneath the disclosure requirements size-wise, so haven't been on RNS (or on this BB!).

This article discusses the acquisition only two weeks ago of Bytemark:

"AIM-listed iomart inhales third cloud biz in 4 months
North Yorks-based Bytemark slipped into trolley
30 Aug 2018 at 09:20

Exclusive AIM-listed iomart has carved out the umpteenth notch on its bedpost, so to speak, buying UK managed hosting and cloud minnow Bytemark.

North Yorkshire-based Bytemark is the third slurp in four months for iomart following deals with cloud services outfits Dediserve, Tier 9 Ltd, which trades as Simply Servers.

The latest purchase was confirmed by a spokeswoman at Glasgow-headquartered iomart: “This is another significant acquisition for iomart of a high quality cloud business that can add real value to the group and enhance our delivery of secure managed cloud computing services to UK business,” a spokeswoman told The Register.

We asked about the buy price and the rationale for making the latest addition but were told that no further statements will be made.

Founded in 2002, Bytemark sells server hosting and data centre services, and launched a public cloud designed in-house using open source wares a decade later.

It filed abbreviated accounts for the year ended 31 July, indicating a turnover less than £6.5m or fewer than 50 employees."
