12/1/2008 18:32 | I would be interested to see who the investors are who have paid well above the odds for IVK shares. This surely is unusual and could be an indicator that they know something we dont. I remember reading an article a while back about the potential of LP, perhaps we will see some movement on that front in 2008. | pec2004
12/1/2008 18:23 | Hello peroman, Personally, I believe Mineral Securities (MXX) is a far more proficient vehicle than IVK for anyone interested in this type of investment. | drewz
12/1/2008 15:09 | drewz What's your position on/in IVK if I may ask? I remember your comments from MXP not so long ago :) | peroman
12/1/2008 03:04 | This must be the infamous 'pete barnes' who, from time to time, turns up on a thread and declares: "I just bought a pile of these. Can anyone tell me what they do?" Quite a comedian. | drewz
11/1/2008 16:35 | nghomi, I expect IVK to trade between A$5.50 to A$6.85 in three months time. What do you see as the main drivers behind such a re-rating in that timescale? Cheers, Chris | madmix
11/1/2008 16:16 | Anyone still having problems getting buy orders filled here? Looks like EVO have some stock to clear. Selftrade are happily offering up to 25,000 shares at 168.75p online (just above the mid-price). | madmix
11/1/2008 16:03 | pete barnes - 11 Jan'08 - 13:59 - 843 of 859 (Filtered) ah thats better, what a fanny! | sheeneqa
11/1/2008 14:47 | pete Not sure that's a recommendation. If you are any good at investment then you are a rare breed in the City. 86% of fund managers can't even beat a 6 y/o girl picking 100 stocks blindfolded. | jtcod
11/1/2008 14:45 | pete barnes - 11 Jan'08 - 14:39 - 855 of 856 (Filtered) Someone let me know if he says anything constructive. Cheers. | edmundshaw
11/1/2008 14:45 | can i please suggest that we just filere him boys ??? no point spoiling a good thread | pete barnes
11/1/2008 14:43 | Sweeping the streets by the sounds of it.....son | nomolos
11/1/2008 14:38 | I have a feeling that IVK was shorted by a few short termers. They were hoping that the placing at 4.30 would fail. Now they have to cover themselves at much higher prices. I wouldn't be surprised to see £2 by the end of next week. | nghomi
11/1/2008 14:34 | Locked in...in what sense? Both our CGT limits have been reached, I've filled two ISA's worth at a price I'm happy with looking for 20% YOY growth tax free, which is achievable in my view. I was hoping these would still be sub 200p by April so I could fill two more, and they might well be. Whats the problem? | nomolos
11/1/2008 14:33 | lol keep taking the medicine son | pete barnes
11/1/2008 14:33 | Well, locked in or not, it's excellent news and allows IVK to get on with the job in hand. In a better market the dilution would be less. But the value is still very much there, and has been recognised by those taking up the issue. Two excellent sites with great potential. I'd value the TMC+Berong holding a bit higher than the current market price, too. Talk about £1 coins for 50p! :-) | edmundshaw
11/1/2008 14:30 | i think kiwi has the answer. No one would be able to pick up 3 million shares without increasing the share price way above gbp 1.80 | zaitoon
11/1/2008 14:23 | nomo> sounds to me like your locked in son | pete barnes
11/1/2008 14:20 | It's a bit of a gimme if you can snaffle some under the placing price. Raising money was meant to be tough in this climate, Kyriakou seems to have done a nice deal on the face of it, getting a nice premium and cash in hand. Should put a floor under the share price for now. Pete barnes - glad you haven't got anything "tied-up" - I've got two ISA's full and some, patience is all it takes. | nomolos
11/1/2008 14:19 | What will it do when the Aus market opens I wonder. | jtcod
11/1/2008 14:15 | They probably couldn't get 2.9m shares any other way. Think of the impact on the share price if someone started buying that amount. Hopefully it will illustrate some vlaue to the stock, and we can start climbing back again. | 7kiwi
11/1/2008 14:13 | Had my order in now for a few K at best and still not filled! | red river 1
11/1/2008 13:59 | glad i havent got money tied up in this one | pete barnes
11/1/2008 13:57 | I think the MM's are as stumped as we are, on the move now. Fill or kill failed even though I offered a premium to the offer when the RNS was released. barstewards. | nomolos |
