14/10/2020 10:57 | Candid:
Strong chance of socialist government in US (or what Americans call socialism)
US stimulus deferred until after election dispute shenanigans
Brexit
Potential negative interest rates
Pandemic back to square one
Two vaccine trials suspended - maybe no vaccine until July next year
Impending economic depression
Who knows what is happening in South Africa
Chances of dividend being restored even next year fading
US markets at very high valuations - worry of bubble bursting with knock-on to FTSE
come to think of it, why am I in shares at all? | minsky
13/10/2020 20:21 | What the hell is happening to the share price now ? | candid investor
07/10/2020 10:14 | The insurers as a group seem to have bounced. Plus other stuff. | cassini
07/10/2020 09:46 | yes-they are soo undervalued its ridiculous | nemesis6
06/10/2020 15:58 | 8 days of consecutive increasing price change. Any reason? | goonermiller
02/10/2020 19:24 | The recent dip seemed to affect various insurance companies - like L&G, M&G, SLA, AV. etc.
Not saying INVP isn't a basket case, just that it got caught up in a wider market downturn the last week or two. | cassini

18/9/2020 07:13 | dire results - couldn't believe how bad they turned out to beNAV ps is pretty meaningless.... | scepticalinvestor
17/9/2020 20:28 | I was also thinking about jumping on before I realised that N91 had been spun out.
Think I'd rather wait for direction tomorrow

17/9/2020 17:41 | anyone there?Managed to get in at 136Lets see what tomorrow brings | scepticalinvestor
17/9/2020 13:43 | looks a little undervalued - decided to take a punt on these in advance of the results tomorrow. | scepticalinvestor
28/8/2020 16:31 | Even with the divestment of N91 this has been a very poor investment, mitigated for me by some profitable sales along the way. It should be a buy given its so cheap and I certainly can't bring myself to sell out completely at these levels, but the banking sector remains as out of favour (with orders not to pay divs etc ) , as the fang stocks are in. | its the oxman
27/8/2020 08:11 | minsky, Thanks for the post.
One line says all you need to know! | bamboo2
26/8/2020 15:49 | They did split a few months ago - new offshoot is N91 - up over 40% since mid-March. INVP down 20% over same time period. | minsky
26/8/2020 09:36 | Hi Oxman, You've held here on and off for a long time.
What's your take on the price action?
Obviously this is tightly linked to ZAR.
Did the co get split in two at some point as planned?
[I've been lazy, and not checked the news tab yet]
If this has happened, has the loss of the investment side caused the fall? | bamboo2
26/8/2020 09:23 | Yes Dennis....i find it hard to dislike boris tbh....but this govt is a shambles and one with starmer would have had much broader appeal. Still if things keep going like this there may not be long to wait. | nemesis6
26/8/2020 08:49 | This needs viagra | minsky
21/8/2020 09:16 | With you Nemesis. SKS looks the man for the job, always was a fan and super glad when he won the leadership contest. Just have to wait to see what is left of the country when we next go to the polls
D | dennisbergkamp | |
21/8/2020 08:35 | Why the hell did labour persist with Corbyn for so long.?..if they had got their act together we might have had someone else rather than the same ole tories | nemesis6
20/8/2020 13:05 | Deaths declared as covid related have changed based on the 28 day rule...
Soo, if you die after 28 days of testing positive for covid, it won't be counted. Ridiculous based on how long hospitalisations have been.
Alongside killing off PHE.
Guess no surprise if you look at how jobless numbers were changed under the blues too.
It's total BS and changing the reported death numbers is the most abhorent kind of massaging of figures
IMO,

20/8/2020 12:35 | Or a political party | stpalm
20/8/2020 12:34 | well said sr! especially if they are on the board. lol | stpalm
20/8/2020 09:36 | don,t believe eveything that you read. | sr2day
20/8/2020 09:05 | March low was 122.
By the way - in 2018 the number of people killed in Britain car accidents was 1784 - or 4-5 per day. During August, the average number of Covid deaths per day has been 5-6. Just saying. | minsky
