The recent dip seemed to affect various insurance companies - like L&G, M&G, SLA, AV. etc. Not saying INVP isn't a basket case, just that it got caught up in a wider market downturn the last week or two.

Even with the divestment of N91 this has been a very poor investment, mitigated for me by some profitable sales along the way. It should be a buy given its so cheap and I certainly can't bring myself to sell out completely at these levels, but the banking sector remains as out of favour (with orders not to pay divs etc ) , as the fang stocks are in.

They did split a few months ago - new offshoot is N91 - up over 40% since mid-March. INVP down 20% over same time period.

Hi Oxman, You've held here on and off for a long time. What's your take on the price action? Obviously this is tightly linked to ZAR. Did the co get split in two at some point as planned? [I've been lazy, and not checked the news tab yet] If this has happened, has the loss of the investment side caused the fall?

Yes Dennis....i find it hard to dislike boris tbh....but this govt is a shambles and one with starmer would have had much broader appeal. Still if things keep going like this there may not be long to wait.

Deaths declared as covid related have changed based on the 28 day rule... Soo, if you die after 28 days of testing positive for covid, it won't be counted. Ridiculous based on how long hospitalisations have been. Alongside killing off PHE. Guess no surprise if you look at how jobless numbers were changed under the blues too. It's total BS and changing the reported death numbers is the most abhorent kind of massaging of figures IMO, D

March low was 122. By the way - in 2018 the number of people killed in Britain car accidents was 1784 - or 4-5 per day. During August, the average number of Covid deaths per day has been 5-6. Just saying.
