Sally joins from FTSE100 UK water company United Utilities, where she has been performing a similar role. Before joining United Utilities in 2007, Sally held a number of roles at Nestle, Northern Foods and had a successful consultancy career supporting a range of companies managing major change programmes. Sally is also a Non-Executive Director at Lookers Plc.

Why? What do you know about her?

It seems from the information available that she was the Company Secretary of her husbands firm that went into voluntary dissolution with a negative balance sheet of -£147k.

If that is her - that does not offer great commercial insight.

She was appointed as a director to UU Pension trustees in 2007 but resigned less than a year later.
Was she actually a company director at UU or just a titled "director" ?

What do you know of her track record - before you make sweeping statements?

Of course the ramping case does not need any facts , just hope and stories.....

She will be an extra salary ....... tick

Interserve, the international support services and construction group, announces today the appointment of Sally Cabrini to its Executive Board as Director of Transformation, IT and People with effect from January 15, 2018.

I think she will be the architect of great change. There must be a few of those grey suits ringing executive consultants today. They are going to get rooted out and disposed of in Q1. The gravy train is in the sidings now. Massive restructure, huge cost cutting and then build a sustainable business. Yes great for shareholders, we know there is more pain to be endured in respect of the EfW but by then hopefully we will be in much better shape.
A good appointment!

Juggler....good post. Thats the biggest indicator todate that this company will renew banking loan terms and rebuild.
Im sure Fen666 will post his usual negative BS now LOL..

Great news and I am betting on +£1 around christmas or early Jan once new terms etc have been announced.

SP holding up well and absorbing some big sells. for every sell there is a buyer.. once seller is out this can recover. a blue day today up 1p. i'll take it!

Company bids for a contract. Company has carefully priced it up to cover all costs, including contingency, and provide a worthwhile known profit. Rocket science it is not....

Can someone remind me as to how exactly that ends up with massive losses ?

we just need news...these hedge fund 'players' KNOW that the lenders are still at Interserve HQ...and until they leave then the games will continue ...why wouldnt they?

All the following imho3 sells of 400k and one of 250k adds up to 1450. This is 1% of company sold after hours?Presumably we will get an rns in next few days?Trades during day seemed to be nearly all retail sized trades. After hours some very big trades?
