i think we will see a restructure. SO new banking covenants agreed. Sell of non performing units and drive new operational cost base.

This is NOT a Connaught!

This is my view - we can debate but i dont see this going bust.

Coltrane AUM looks to be sub $1bn (if I have the right firm)- don't think they will be launching a bid with that capital level - at 25% (almost halfof which is on tick via cfd)this looks like a ballsy call only time will tell if it was a good one.

Hi Juggler - yep, as we learned to our cost if you dont have 25% to block you can get sold out on the cheap and not a thing you can do about it.

The stake build mught actually be a defensive move, alot of shareholder votes require 75% approval to pass, if you own 25% then you can block them so usually you arw able exert influence.

Jeffian, maybe Coltrane will await the restructure, the disposals etc and then when the company looks viable going forward it will come in with a bid? Building an enormous stake for some reason.

Germany’s biggest bank reported a disastrous £6.05billion (€6.8bn) drop in revenue in the three months to September compared to the year before.

The "terrible" 9.6 per cent drop year on year was blamed on a weak market, low interest rates and the bank’s ongoing restructuring programme.

The fall in revenue was a combination of factors stemming from the investments arm - with a 23 per cent fall in income for the corporate and investment bank division

Deutsche have made some awful calls over the last few years, overall their performance has been reflected in their own share price

From 35 down to 17.5 in the last 2.5 years .....

I bow to their expertise..... or maybe not

That's a much bigger holding than me. I wish you and all other holders good luck. I'm confident of a turnaround here. There's obviously going to be short term volatility but that's the nature of investing in a recovery share. I feel for the investors who have high averages, but it's only a loss when you sell as they say. Once again, currently the risk/reward is very good imo.
