September 27 2017INTERSERVE WINS PLACE ON GBP8 BILLION HOMES AND COMMUNITIES AGENCY FRAMEWORKInterserve, the international support services and construction group, has won a place on the Homes and Communities Agency's GBP8 billion Delivery Partner Panel 3 (DPP3) Framework.The four-year framework is divided into regional lots, and Interserve - a new entrant into the DPP framework - is appointed to all five. The framework aims to speed up the construction of residential and mixed-use developments on public sector land as part of the UK government's plan to increase housing provision through private sector involvement.As part of the framework, public sector bodies including central government and local authorities, will be able to seek advice from Interserve at the earliest stages of a project, subsequently working closely with delivery panel members to develop housing-led sites and associated infrastructure.Gordon Kew, Managing Director at Interserve, said:"Our success in winning a place on this framework highlights our ability to deliver complex projects for our customers. We look forward to advising panel users from the very start of their procurement journey to help solve problems, add value and ultimately deliver quality developments that achieve both time and cost savings."The delivery partner panel has been in use for the last six years and has already enabled the delivery of 45,000 homes on 250 sites. The estimated spend for the new framework has doubled to GBP8 billion from an original GBP4 billion, as the Homes and Communities Agency is taking more responsibility for mixed-use tenure schemes and bringing in more bodies to use its preferred list.The framework is geared to attract developments ranging from 50 to 500 units.

Finding a bottom is a risky skill which I have learnt!

You don't even know what the companies you gamble on do, let alone where the bottom should be.

With the enormous risks you take to make a few % points gain you are going to get caught in a suspension or something catastrophic like that that'll wipe you out. When, not if.
