And the ceo sold at the same time-another 'house purchase'???
If they believed the shares were on the up, they could borrow against them to fund their house purchase. All they need is the deposit anyway! Fishy. If the ceo and cfo know enough to be selling large chunks, I'm out too.

The FD's share sale may be explicable by personal circumstances but it is a bit of a coincidence that it occurred on the same day as the sale of another 4.7m shares (13% of the total) and that nobody has so far come forward with an RNS to own up to these sales. One of the sales, for 1,088,370 represented more than 3% of the company's equity which should surely have been reported? Tom loves companies that are open and straight with investors but somebody has sold more than 13% of the company and there has been no explanation. It may not matter to the share price in the long run but that is quite an over-hang

The FD sold his shares for a house purchase. Reported by TW, so buy is the recommendation on the share dip. I'm sure he will put something on the share price site.

Still no RNS about the sale of 5,170,943 shares on 17th. The CEO and CFO sales of 95,000 and 313,333 have been reported. The remaining 4,762,610 represents 13.4% of the issued share capital of 35,462,765. According to my information if that was one seller it should have been reported. Only Gary Ashworth and Helium Special Situations have that number of shares. Was the CFO selling because he knew that another big holder was also selling? Why no RNS yet?

What about the other 4.5m sales that went through on the same day all at the same price? Who could be behind those and why has there been no RBS?

Could be raising funds for a divorce settlement! Joking aside a FD at a company I used to work for had to do exactly that.

It really is very negative for me when an FD sells ALL his shareholding and especially after a period where the company was effectively up for sale but could not find a buyer. If the company is undervalued and increasing earnings and supposedly worth more than its recent high of £1.30 then why would the man who manages the accounts and knows more than anyone else in the business sell up totally at 30% below that price ?

I do not hold here but that was a big negative for me with no accompanying explanation and it was on my watchlist. It is clearly not money for a new car as directors here will have very nice car benefits already and £300k would buy a whole fleet at his local dealer lol

He may want a new car, etc. Can go lower for me I,ll keep topping up. PI's always worry when directors sell. This is a cracking company and will be sold at a lot higher price than it is now. IMO.

Don't like seeing the FD sell his shares, especially after the recent good results.

Positive write up in IC today recommending buy. Analysts expect EPS this year to be 11.2p giving current p/e ratio of just 8.4.

OK. Thanks. I've had a further trawl thro all results announcements (interim + finals) going back to 2008 + have been unable to find any explanation of the dividend policy. However there is reference each time to the relevant payment being made "in line with our progressive dividend policy" even though the dividend has largely stood still in recent years! Admission doc (which admittedly goes back a long way) states that they do not intend to pay a dividend at that time so no help there either. Will probably have to contact Investor Relations if I want clarification.

I read somewhere about their progressive dividend policy so i would assume we will see an increase in the 0.5p at the half year.

"We are declaring an interim dividend of 2.0 pence in line with The Group's dividend policy".

Sorry for being lazy but, what is the group's dividend policy? Haven't been able to find anything on company website or in annual report.

nterQuest after-tax profits up 130%

10 March 2015 | 07:42am
StockMarketWire.com - Specialist recruitment group InterQuest posts a statutory profit after tax of £2.3m for the year to the end of December - 130% up on last time.

Adjusted earnings before interest, tax and amortisation rose by 96% to £4.9m and adjusted pre-tax profits also increased by 96% to £4.5m.

Net fee income was up 33% at £23.2m (2013: £17.4m) and revenue rose by 31% to £150.7m (2013: £114.9m).

Chief executive Mark Braund said: "We are delighted with the results and progress made during 2014, which clearly demonstrate the benefits of our decision to focus on specialist recruitment services that provide some of the market's most in-demand skill sets.

"ECOM, the UK's leading digital technology recruitment company, which we acquired in November 2013, has made an outstanding contribution to InterQuest and our programme of cross-selling digital skills to the Group's existing customer base has enhanced its contribution.

"InterQuest is now strategically placed to be a market leader in permanent and contract recruitment across specialist areas that are growing fast and will keep growing. These include information security, data analytics, telecommunications, change management and digital skills. In each of these areas we operate as a distinct niche recruitment practice, all of which are fully integrated under the IQ brand and operate to the same high standards.

"InterQuest is seen as an efficient, reliable and sometimes only source of talent for organisations that rely on analytics and digital technologies and our strategy of focusing on these specialist disciplines underpins our success, which we believe will deliver further growth during 2015."

Currently 92p at the ask.

Fwiw, Level 2 show a mere 4k of shares on each side and even that pitiful showing is spread over 4 mm's x 1000shrs, with the highest ask now up at 95p.

This one has been off folk's radars for ages and whilst it's obvious that more than the quoted amounts of stock can be got, any concerted demand will see ITQ move up much further and quickly so.

From share price 8th Jan

With “full year Net Fee Income expected to be circa £23.3 million”, house broker to the company, Charles Stanley, anticipates earnings per share in excess of 10p and notes a positive outlook with the company’s “focus on providing talent in high-growth markets where there remains significant demand, such as analytics, digital, web technologies and information security”.

The broker forecasts a near £1.5 million reduction in net debt (to £7.7 million) in the now current year and, with the shares having slipped below 100p since the termination of a formal sale process, considers the shares “attractively valued… on a PE rating of 9x for 2015 and offering a yield of 2.8%”.

We concur – and also consider that current 2015 forecasts could prove conservative given the clear current trading momentum. Therefore, despite still being comfortably ahead of the 88p offer price at which the shares were added to the Recovery portfolio 14 months ago, ahead of a 10th March scheduled preliminary results announcement, we remain positive here. At up to 108p buy with a 150p target.
