14/12/2006 15:40 | Will be interesting to see how long it takes before people twig to the daily share buybacks :) | siwel100
14/12/2006 12:00 | charleyduck...they are currently soaking up the excess stock, a buy yesterday, another 20k today at 103p.....Once they have soaked up the liquidity there are bound to be a few matched trades if some larger holders want an exit. The Directors want to pay paper for more aquisitions, they also want the value of their holding at a sensible level. If they dont get the price as high as they want with this buyback they will no doubt just repeat it. This activity actually takes the focus away from the company and its performance. They say they are confident about full year figures and both top n bottom line have been growing at an amazing rate. | siwel100
13/12/2006 20:51 | Thanks Siwel. I am sure you are right. They need the price higher too so that their aquisitions are 'cheaper'. Another question if I may. How is it that a Company can buy at the bid price? The price was 100/107 at 10:33 when their first purchase was made on 12th Dec. It appeared to be unchanged all day. I have heard that the AIM rules limit the volume a Company can buy in any one day. Is it perhaps five times the NMS, or something like that? (I looked thru the AIM rule book but could not see it mentioned) Anyone know? For info - the most they can pay tomorrow is 107.42p - wouldn't that be nice! | charleyduck

12/12/2006 08:57 | charleyduck...Always a shakeout when buybacks first start, gets rid of dead holders. But with 1.75 million shares being bought back, they will soon be taken out. | siwel100
11/12/2006 18:49 | Is there still a big seller around - seeing the two 25,000 blocks sold today - has anyone any clues on this? Could they yet go lower despite the buyback starting? | charleyduck

21/11/2006 22:47 | Pretax profit in the first half rose 494% to 4.4 mln stg as revenues rose 465% to 13.8 mln stg. ONLY CAPPED AT 63 MILLION WITH THIS KIND OF GROWTH ITS WELL UNDER PRICED Debtmatters Group PLC said pretax profit for the first half beat market forecasts on strong performance across the business and it now expects full-year results to be ahead of expectations. Market forcast 8 million profit for 2007 (they have already made 4.4 million in the first 6 months) it is confident of continued progress as it is well positioned to capitalise on the rapid growth in the IVA market. "The IVA market continues to grow rapidly and shows no sign of abating. I anticipate this trend will continue into 2007 and beyond with many commentators predicting that the market size will more than double by 2009," chief executive Ges Ratcliffe said in a statement. | kingspot
14/11/2006 17:27 | On 31st Oct IMSG said in an RNS that, as part of the procedure required by the Irish Stock Exchange Takeover Panel, "a circular approved by the Panel is to be sent to shareholders for consideration at an EGM to be held in November. Further details will follow shortly." I guess they cannot start to do any buy-backs until after that EGM. So it does not seem that it will happen in November. How much notice do they need to give to convene an EGM? | charleyduck
