hi tomboyb, imo ifl is worth more if given the time to continue operations because the commodity cycle will turn around...eventually...and fecr prices will recover...eventually.

a buyout may occur but even if 3 or 6 times the current share price is achieved, its still a poor deal for most lth's. and most likely it'll be less than that.

of course a firesale would be much worse.

have long felt ifl needed to get the facility on a firmer footing, as i've banged on about many times.

let's see what transpires.

ifl is worth much more as a going concern but of course that requires patience.

If someone with deeper pockets wades in here -

Wonder if the guy from Aberforth who bought shed loads of these at about 12p is still working

ifl is worth much more as a going concern but of course that requires patience.

if the credit facility has been withdrawn, i'm guessing ifl will want to explore alternative lenders if they haven't already been doing that.

it might just be a delay at the bank with the facility renewal given what's been happening in china in recent days - maybe that's too optimistic.

not looking good but hoping for the best.

gla.

Penny - They have mentioned an announcement requested by them - No financial situation mentioned YET -

So we to await details - I still think 50:50 in terms of the T/O certainly from these levels -

I called Numis up the other day and had a talk to one of their managers about inflated broker targets - this was after one of their workers put the phone down on me 3 times (claiming he couldn't and wouldn't talk to PIs.

In my opinion these house broker targets are worthless - and always have been. The fact that Numis reiterated their BUY signal a few days ago is meaningless IMO..
They have no idea and continue to put out these disingenuous and leading figures by rote.

It's almost criminal in some ways.

I'll eat my words if IFL have got a deal going here - but personally think this is the end. I left a small amount in here for the possibility of an upshoot if the China funding got the green light but believe the plug may have been pullled.

Me thinks China have pulled the plug - and firesale/liquidation on the cards

8/16/2015 – International Ferro Metals Limited had its price target lowered by analysts at Numis Securities Ltd from GBX 20 ($0.31) to GBX 15 ($0.23). They now have a “buy” rating on the stock.

Good luck all shareholders -

Why would Numis have a much higher target price just 6 days ago?

We don't know until further developments -

Given negotiations with bank of China were ongoing and with what is happening there maybe the line is being pulled forcing a sale

We shall see -

Numis the house broker had a much higher valuation on these only 6 days ago -

You'd thought they would be closer to the action on IFL - However, we don't know the ensueing news at this stage -

Numis have a 15p target on IFL - 5 Days ago

IFL - have significant operations hence someone buying this out is a possibility - A former FTSE 250 Company -

Seems Nuts but there is also a elemental risk - Numis certainly have a "buy" rating and a 15x priice target on IFL -
