10/9/2021 12:44 | Surely they will have to a rights issue.Last one 88p, at 75p deeply discounted I reckon shareholders would back that. | montyhedge
10/9/2021 12:41 | Regarding rights issue .I am not sure IAG will need one. ESJ raised a measly 1.2b , IAG has over 10b cash liquidity . Big difference , but I am not sure how much cash ESJ before RIOnly thing is IAG may raise for the low cost airline to compete against ESJ and Ryanair . Maybe this is where BA see revenue from than their previous premium market .It is a strange idea to me ESJ is still in recovery and getting ready for further pickup in travel . IAG low cost airline will just be a disruptor to the others .I hope there is a strategy to this plan , seems it is to stop monopoly of low cost travel | jailbird

10/9/2021 11:03 | It seems to me the reason why BA are looking at starting up a low cost airline out of Gatwick as 20% to 40% of their main line business traffic isn't coming back. Sadly for BA, they haven't a clue how to run a low cost airline, they seem to have also forgotten how to run a full service premium airline as well. | loganair

U.K. index underperforming every other index in the world by a mile, Brexit, Boris, the tory loonies, really have been a total disaster for U.K. plc, years of it, and the currency destroyed…and now the highest taxes in 70 years including under 70’s labour.
