Regarding rights issue .I am not sure IAG will need one. ESJ raised a measly 1.2b , IAG has over 10b cash liquidity . Big difference , but I am not sure how much cash ESJ before RIOnly thing is IAG may raise for the low cost airline to compete against ESJ and Ryanair . Maybe this is where BA see revenue from than their previous premium market .It is a strange idea to me ESJ is still in recovery and getting ready for further pickup in travel . IAG low cost airline will just be a disruptor to the others .I hope there is a strategy to this plan , seems it is to stop monopoly of low cost travel

It seems to me the reason why BA are looking at starting up a low cost airline out of Gatwick as 20% to 40% of their main line business traffic isn't coming back.

Sadly for BA, they haven't a clue how to run a low cost airline, they seem to have also forgotten how to run a full service premium airline as well.

These brokers ratings and recommendations are a comedy act...when markets are supported artificially in the form of QE these recommendations are irrelevant....

If Easyjet are bought out, the buy will need to give up a fair few number of routes and slots.

I don't see the RI stopping bids for EZJ.
If it is in play others will be interested.

I still don't understand why Americans can fly into LHR but Brits cannot fly to the USA ?

Makes no sense at all.

I suspect Hester has been brought in to oversee a sale at some stage.

It's what he does.

….back under a quid by Feb next year. At least they don’t have Hester in charge, kiss of death wherever he goes even by dog index of the world ftse 100 standards of managenmet. U.K. index underperforming every other index in the world by a mile, Brexit, Boris, the tory loonies, really have been a total disaster for U.K. plc, years of it, and the currency destroyed…and now the highest taxes in 70 years including under 70’s labour. Need a change of government so badly but no real opposition. Scary bad future.

Share price indicating that fear although my understanding was that current cash burn rate sees them good for min 24 months and that was benchmarked off before things really started to open up
