IK GOV want to keep people in this country so they have to spend their money here,
in order to try and keep the economy going.

It is of course yet another failed strategy by BoJo and Sunak.
There is a very real danger of substantial inflation in a year or so AND large companies failing , if they persist with this ad hoc lockdown on the country and travel.

How they expect any business to function in this environment is anyone's guess.

Getting totally RIPPED OFF for COVID tests doesn't help. Why can't passengers use the NHS Test Kits that some companies supply their staff, or are The Government on this Gravy Train from these private companies?

Of course, this has nothing to do with the wish to negotiate even lower wages for staff at LGW !
Or that they now have the ability to 'lay off' crew for up to 6 months with no pay , as a result of their 'fire and re-hire' policy that BoJo and Sunak did nothing to prevent.

between them, they have totally destroyed the UK Travel Industry. Of course this didn't prevent Raab from going on holiday during the Afgham crisis.

They really are a shower.

Alitalia have never made money, they never will.
Why the Italian government keep ploughing money into them is beyond me .

You are . BA have never done well with low cost .
Of course, IAG has more experience and the Low cost business model must be well established by now.

British Airways set up another "Low Cost Airline" years ago called GO, that was sold to Easy Jet later on if I'm correct.

Better to wait till after FED's SPEECH at 3 p.m.

I sold all around 166p early this week

0.2% Spanish duty, since several months, used to be stamp free.

This is what NYBoy said, he's hardly down and he does say he's looking beyond a few months. If trading was that simple and it went up straight away we'd all be millionaires.Added another 10k @ 161p, I believe these represent a good long term investment, best look beyond a few days a few months! Best ignore short term noise and dyorCatch up next year GL

What a performance even travelling even to Spain, tests, etc. Now Gatwick and Heathrow charge to drop passengers off. They are trying to squeeze every last penny out of flying passengers.
Can't see the attraction of IAG, no dividend for years, won't be back to normal for years, the way its going,

This probably won't do a gamestop bluecash; there's not a lot of shorts against IAG, the only small thing in its favour right now. Just citadel europe shorting 0.61% since last month, which is about £50m, though that is a pretty sizeable negative statement.
