Don't think it will be doomsday. I think we will see a very difficult March but from April onwards warm weather will hit and things will carm down.

Lufthansa have been struggling for years. Steady decline since 2017.
IAG a totally different business.

Very resilient. Fridays figures should be good. But what about guidance if Lufthansa anything to go by today, not good.

Why you not get out and put your money into a company that's not going to be so badly affected, but has also fallen badly?

Think about it!

It's all driven by hysteria at the moment and of course the mm's and shorters.
As soon as the media stop reporting the latest numbers infected by the virus (which is only mild flu for the majority of people).
The Hysteria will calm down .

Figures in China are reportedly falling now.

Sounds personal. At present I'm in paper profits in IAG as a result of the virus.

Many made huge profits by shorting banks and builders during 2008 at the demise of many losing their homes but it doesn't mean the same people making those gains are taking joy from the awful situation.

If you think that of everyone who is making a buck through savvy decision then you would also believe that medical experts are in jobs as a result of peoples illness. So are you saying doctors need people to have severe illnesses so they can earn a living?

Are you saying funeral service companies take joy in people dying?

Please think before you post something that's all I request.

I don't know normally short and seldom do it. I hate shorting as it appears to me as a method not conducive to investing - where else can you place an investment to hooe that investment decline ???

But in this situation almost all stocks will decline severely I'm afraid.
