14/9/2024 19:55 | Never see a 5-6 x Covid low like RR but 3-4 times (3 squid ++) is a possible. Pleasantly surprised it's knocking on the door of 2 squid so soon. Long term expectations remain the same though (a few years before we see 3 squid). Pay down debt/share buybacks (if the share price remains at these levels) the way to go. Dont need a small (and 20% taxed) dividend. | chiefbrody
13/9/2024 14:55 | Just ticked you up Whats making what must be a record for this thread. For me I just see huge potential in this stock as said many times I know but if a business makes record profits in their entire history pre Covid then with geo politics to one side there isnt a big reason why it shouldn't return in time to similar success really. Yes hybrid working impacts premium traffic but other than that the business model is pretty much unchanged. TT love your post re Rolls Royce. This certainly has similarities in terms of possibilities imo. GLA | 1spitfire
13/9/2024 10:55 | Never in a million years did I think IAG would be knocking on two pounds door. Well done all longterm holders , you deserve this one. | whatsup32

12/9/2024 10:49 | Finally seeing the chains fully releasedWorth noting this has been steadily climbing from Aug 6 when at 164 just 5 days after Q2 results. This imo is when the larger investors starting taking notice helped by the div announcement albeit small. We are now firmly seeing the fruits of a solid steady rise after Covid and again imo will see the trend continue for few weeks. Expect some profit taking in Oct few weeks weeks before Q3 as pretty standard but after Q3 based on good results I'm expecting the rise to restart. Just my view but pleased for all in this and feel for those who got 150 stuck in their head . Where is he lol. Joking aside I'm sure he can now see the 200 is no hype. GLA | 1spitfire

10/9/2024 10:31 | Not yet but you may want to check how your account is set up as some default any div payment to reinvest. I had to change mine with Fidelity for info. They usually take 3-4 days. | 1spitfire

09/9/2024 18:54 | Dont forget as each year we pull away from the Covid nightmare old resistant points become less relevant imo. Maybe it's just me but can't understand why anyone is selling in the most lucrative quarter. Then again Im not into the short term game. The 2.00 barrier not that far away now. Imo . 09/9/2024 10:49 | I agree a strong rise ex dividend is a great sign however £1.90 has been a very strong resistance level for a few years so I decided to sell this morning to wait to see what happens next | lufty

05/9/2024 15:03 | For read across only nb i don't invest in Jet2 | bargainsniper
05/9/2024 15:02 | Jet2 has reported a sharp rise in the number of seats it had available this summer, with 17.2 million seats on sale over July and August. The figure is 12.4% higher than last year, and comes amid a trend towards late bookings as customers hunt for last-minute deals.Airlines have increased ticket prices in the wake of the pandemic, when flights were grounded and few people went on foreign holidays. | bargainsniper
05/9/2024 14:10 | Hope I get a chance to buy back in tomorrow sub 1.86 :-) | 1224saj
05/9/2024 13:35 | The big key I want you to see in Q3 is more returning premium customers on long haul business routes. Thats the only missing piece of the recovery for me. That factor will really signal full recovery and huge money earner. The WFH philosophy has eaten into that market but there are signs of it changing albeit slowly. Hope that helps . Just my thinking.
