Posted at 01/4/2024 08:38 by 1spitfire Yep the smart investors just know this is a great stock to be in. Fab year beckons and avoid the dementors who thought 130 was possible a month ago. It dreams volumes. Buffett golden rules on investing are all v wise but my fav was avoid the media headlines and invest in proven well managed high revenue companies. GLA and going by the PM delighted so many are profiting on this stock. |
Posted at 13/3/2024 15:32 by m1k3y1 I am still waiting for the CEO to explain where the 7B is coming from ?I suspect that a lot of other investors are also. |
Posted at 13/3/2024 10:12 by hutchmeister In 2019 the market cap for IAG was 16 Billion making a profit of 2.6 billion with a net debt of 7.5 billion. 2023 net bebt of 9.2 billion and a profit of 3.5 billion, with a market cap of ONLY 7.6 billion. I'm an investor for this recovery stock and with the current trajectory in terms of profits and capital management I think 2p well before the end of the year is very possible. Whilst debt needs to be managed it's normal for high net debt, I think everyone would have been up in in arms if a divi was paid for 2023 as we all know capital mgmt WAS the first priority. GLA long term investors. |
Posted at 12/3/2024 18:14 by m1k3y1 Debt is Debt.........it's either high or low.IAG are not doing a great job of convincing Investors at the moment , that they are on top of their Debt pile and they will be substantially reducing it .......quickly. No forward looking guidance is unhelpful. If the CEO doesn't deal with this situation rapidly, he should go and .....I think he recognises this which is why he wants paying in Cash ! |
Posted at 04/3/2024 11:04 by 1spitfire The most probable reason for the share price is nothing to do with pilots but everything to do with the current FAA audit of Boing. Plus oil prices being volatile and hedging period approaching. The audit has created nervousness for two reasons. Firstly whilst it's only Max 9 at the moment it may filter out wider. Secondly the FAA have not stated when it will be complete. Once that is over and hopefully all is good investors will return. |
Posted at 02/3/2024 11:06 by whatsup32 The TimesWhen the IAG executive was asked why the share price was so low... Answer by exec " that is a good question" Jeez , you are paid to know , you should be talking to the city and your investors . What a ridiculous answer by top exec... |

Posted at 01/3/2024 09:52 by rongetsrich I think they think it is, whatsup, and that clued investors and the city are wrong! The proof is the share price, and it's RIGHT not Ii that are investing. I took a small loss, which irritates me still, and more than made up for it with MNG.IAG has no direction, just a lousy BoD that the city isn't interested in! |
Posted at 28/2/2024 09:13 by whatsup32 The Times.Tempus "The only way is up for IAG investors" Half page write up with a BUY recommendation. I still disagree and don't see it as a buy at this level . Results tomorrow and best of luck to holders. |
