The most significant announcement came on the 2oth December; they've secured a cracking deal with some very impressive partners to cover all of mainland China.

Co-inciding with the Olympics next year, they plan to have over 200 Admiral shops in all the big cities.

That is an outstanding opportunity and would be enough in itself to double the m/c in any normal trading market.

Hanging on to all of my shares, despite the loss, as I can see this performing very well over the next 12/18 months.

Patience is the key.

I bought a small number of shares the other day. Certainly not the large batch at 11p though! This looks very undervalued at the current price. Why? Strongest balance sheet this company has ever had, good global brand, strong management etc. The Admiral brand definitely has value given some of the recent deals. I expect fireworks here in 2008, although I would say that! Good possible reverse takeover candidate as well, given the Chairman's experience of deals as well.

Hi Phil
How strange that somebody is happy to pay 11p for their shares ?
I hope that Cesar is right...20p would be nice.

Regards

Rob

Very likely; cash in the balance sheet covers half the miserly m/c!

Certainly neglected and overlooked; but worth accumulating at this rock -bottom price.

Cash rich; profitable; no debt; some good brands and steadily expanding across the globe with their key names.

Some bright investors on board already and last results, although seemingly poor, were deliberately depressed to take advantage of the opportunity to write down intangibles.

Picked up quite a few more without rocking the boat over the past few weeks and am happy to hold for a year or two whilst they build up the muscle brand and keep taking the steady and increasing income from the core admiral logo.

perhaps mkt cap of around £6m would be more realistic
will have to wait and see

suprised there has been no interest here since umbro news last week

But back to IBL - excellent year and with plenty of cash already in, they are alluding to another big deal soon to boost the coffers!

Tandem looks amazing at current levels. I picked up 50k at 9.25p. The first half was loss making whilst they moving operations to China. That has been bedded in and they made 2p of earnings in the second half alone. The current year is sharply higher than last as well which suggests 3p+ isnt out of the question. I expect it to end very sharply higher than where it is at the moment by the end of the day.

Hi Rob ; a very busy year for IBL and 2p eps looks good, particularly with the prospects going forward.

Should encourage the s/p!

Also had results this am for another holding of mine - TANDEM TND - looks even better!

Morning Phil
Very solid results...the house brokers were forecasting eps of 1.37p for y/e 06 with 2p for y/e 07. We have achieved 2p for y/e so it will be interesting to await broker upgrades...plus of course we have £1.6m in the bank.

Rob

Another day; another deal - a smallish one this time but sales progress nonetheless.

The current half will be very profitable with the £1.6M earned earlier this month, in addition to the regular licencing income.

Market yet to realise the potential here.

To CR
My posting from MNS for your consideration..

Afternoon Gents
As you will probably have seen I started this thread way back in June 2002 and although I have taken some profit off the table I still hold a reasonable stake. The reason for my ramble is this...Helium started to acquire their position in August of last year at 20p approx...I acquired mine at 25p in late 2001 so its been poor management of funds by me !! Timing is all important and it is because of this I have picked up on Helium acquiring a stake in IBL. Its quite an intriging situation..they own the rights to the Admiral Sports Brand and if you look at the previous 6 months RNS they have been busy licensing their brand across the world. They have a Market Cap of £7 million. They trade profitably with positive cashflow and a small cash balance which is soon to be boosted by £1.6m. Helium hold 8% and the results for y/e 2006 are due shortly. I have a small position...its forecast 2p eps for y/e 2007 which could turn out to be quite conservative. Anyway just my thoughts.

Regards

Rob

Good man Dave; I think the price is being held back by a persistent seller (goodness knows why??) - Helium picking them back up of course.

I'm sure there will be something of a re-rating when the results come out.

Keep the faith.

Hi Phil
I havnt been following for long but i know a bit about Helium and they are generally quite a shrewd bunch so I'm happy to follow with a small stake. I very much doubt Helium were aware of the ECB deal.....I would think they thought a global brand worth a mere £6 million....mmmhhh seems a little cheap !!

Cheers
