"The contract was secured through an existing Intercede regional channel partner and is anticipated to be the first of many such orders around the world." Fingers crossed the ball starts rolling. It says quite a lot about sentiment here when a microcap wins a seven figure contract with a tier one customer and no one comments until 230pm..

"This makes it easier for the UK Government to meet its international obligations for secure partnership with other governments around the world."It is in the commercial interests of every company on the planet to "meet international obligations for secure partnership.."Sooner or later this will catch on. IGP evidently have a highly regarded product.

£100k to protect 10000 employees. £10 per employee per year. Around 600m people employed in the developed world using insecure passwords. An emerging £6bn market. GDPR regulation will put pressure on more and more organisations to resolve password issues over the next 12 months - this will be a valuable reference account for IGP.

Wow a new contract that will probably add less than £100 in sales in thsi FY. Things must be desperate.

I suspect they will get away with less and less as regulatory pressure mounts.Precisely the story.

IT Majors unfortunately only want what they can get away with; not the highest standards in most cases.

That is true, ramnik. But in the competitive space of cybersecurity to the US government and US aerospace, where expected standards are at the highest levels, IGP has competed and won repeatedly.

....or if the choice to go with IGP is the most cost-effective solution for a major.

I am also mindful of the fact that if a big player wants the technology badly enough it could possibly make a bid for IGP as a whole.

That is an interesting statement Wigwammer. I guess the IT Majors will only select if they have to use and have no other choice.

The first and last lines below are interesting - not sure about the short term bumps, but mid-long term they evidently have an asset that is highly valuable and difficult to replicate."Intercede continues to engage under NDA with industry IT majors. While it is premature to predict when and if significant revenue streams will flow from these partnerships, a commercial breakthrough with any one of these partners could create an inflexion point in Intercede sales revenues. The engagements are a recognition of Intercede's world lead in cryptographic key management, authentication expertise and security technologies. Intercede's solutions remain contemporary, relevant and cannot be readily duplicated by industry majors themselves."

Well they were not very right about the £1.20!!
I think the problem here is the md
He might be a good boffin but I dont think he has a corporate clue
Their share buy back program of a few years ago has to be one of the stupidest ever
The co now is up to its neck with this convertible loan
Despite all this I like the space and am a buyer if the share price falls back to 20/25p

For what it's worth:

FinnCap today reaffirms its corporate investment rating on Intercede Group and cut its price target to 80p (from 120p).

The chairman's guidance is certainly a concern - he has been too optimistic for this year, and not for the first time. Re valuation - totally depends on speed and level of uptake. With 90%+ gross margins there is huge operating leverage in what should be a growing market. When that inflexion point hits is anyone's guess - even Parris appears unsure.

oh dear..Co now reporting delay of contracts.

Not good news for the Co.

They have a costly workforce and now contracts are delayed.

How long will this cash last as cannot see any profits here now.

Can see these dropping further now.
