@abeygale - it depends on the size of your holding and your attitude to risk reward... If the board say this they don't do it lightly as they knew it would send the share price spiralling down. There might be a slight bounce but basically they have failed to reduce cash burn to a manageable rate and will either have to get more money or hand everything over to Meditor. They're not saying there isn't value, they're saying that ordinary shareholders will see little value (that's me and you and most on here)

I think ibug owes a lot of posters an apology for the way he 'spoke' to them.

Sold out first thing this morning £20000 loss ouch !!! I thought this was my dream share And really thought the company would pull through gob smacked ! RNS launching new products and announcing partnerships it looked as though they were going to make it as I believe the technology is the best ! shame it has been to late !! be interesting to see what happens next ?? Could there be anything left for an investor ? I was happy to get something back this morning after frantically trying to sell . GLA

look back at IEH's RNS... They have put out similarly bleak RNS in the past suggesting the company may not be a going concern. It's a hard one to call this... There is a lot to be said for holding tight since the IP will be worth a fortune... Enough for Meditor to get their share and other shareholders to still do nicely... Having said that, I envy anyone getting in at these levels... An historic low today? There are ways and means of fixing IEH's problems.... If the UK government was smart, they'd realize the amount of money that the treasury would not get from IEH's IP if it was sold off cheap abroad.... An RNS like this might put pressure on in the right places to move things forward... They haven't said they're not a going concern... They seem to be saying the company is close to being profitable if some deals being discussed come off... Either IEH is saved or there is a bidding war for the IP... If shareholders get shafted, as usual, there will be write issued... In the the long run, it may be safer for shareholders not to be shafted.... We'll see. Hardly worth selling at these levels... And I'm sure it would be in the interests of some if PIs Did sell out at these levels... I would expect IEH to rise a bit from here so, once again, a load of traders will be piling into IEH.... They will sell as IEH rises again... If it rises... And slow recovery but, if deals are being signed.... Who knows? I'd have preferred a better RNS but it's not All doom and gloom...

I kept all mine. As I think it is a mistake the company has made to say these shares have little or no value. They will release loads of money to continue with from the asset sales.

How sad that the bod's marketing skills were so lacking that nothing tangible could be made of that world leading IP. They had loads of good leads but could not find anyone to turn them into sales. They could nob have looked very hard. It was a dream job.

Are people buying - or are these small upsides the consequence of shorts closing?

Now where is that dreamer ibug , their lack of orders and massive cash burn was pointed out to him , but to no avail, let's hope he did not suck in to many into this mess.

the Board has reluctantly concluded that there could be little (or potentially no) value remaining in the Company's ordinary shares.

Wouldnt touch this, imho

"However, given the slower than expected development of the market, the Company's financing position and the GBP30m interest bearing principal amount owed by the Company in respect of the Convertible Loan Notes, the Board has reluctantly concluded that there could be little (or potentially no) value remaining in the Company's ordinary shares."

Maybe, doesn't look hopeful, but people are still buying and a lot more than me, needs a white knight desperately.

Might be worth letting your "bet" run - they haven't ceased trading and some are still buying. It does seem odd - almost like that statement was designed to make investors sell. I kept a few thousand and will continue to watch - there may be life here yet.

Was always wary of the ambiguous 'orders are now being taken'. It's what the pub landlord might shout at 12.00 when open for lunch.... He hasn't actually taken any orders but is ready to do so....

Feel absolutely genuinely very sorry for ibug as I do not like to see anyone lose money like this, he tried his best, but 'imminent' orders, 'improving finances' and the like over the last year were hollow soundbytes.

Great ideas but failed financial management in my opinion.

perhaps the most stark of parts of this announcement: '....However, while promising and ongoing, such discussions have not to date translated to signed contracts. In consultation with advisers and significant shareholders the Board, in line with previous advice and indications, has concluded that that it is not viable for the Company to be able to access capital markets in a conventional manner.'

That's a shame, I had a £500 'bet' hoping they would pull through, this is just the kind of business we need in the U.K. and part of future industries, I think another year would have sealed it. The technology is brilliant, needs to be sold and the applications realized. What a pity.
